I like some of them because they are so different. But Frederic Malle has such a gift w/ luxurious French perfumery- based on modern florals. Rose and patchouli supposedly describe Portrait of a Lady. But I would say that this is taken to another level. There is nothing cheap smelling about this parfum. This is not an inexpensive line of perfumes. Christmas time was a good time for savings and after Christmas, in January, were the best prices I found on desertcart for perfumes. Also, third party sellers on desertcart should be scrutinized. The third-party seller I bought from sent the real deal in the original, unopened box that displayed the legitimate batch code. I know of one other third party seller that is selling knock offs - so read the seller's reviews before purchasing something like an expensive perfume.
