Dim-Mak: Death Point Striking

Interesting and entertaining read. It’s always good to be open minded.

An excellent and now difficult to find book on the subject of acupoint striking for self-defense from the perspective of the martial art of Taiji Quan. Purchased to replace a copy loaned out years ago and never returned. I am very well pleased to have found this copy and to have the fortune of adding it to my library.

This book is perhaps the better one of dim mak or pressure point books. The author knows what he is talking about particulary in the art of dim mak, though favour in Tai Chi taste, I'm sure other style practitioners who are serious of self-defence martial art will be able to extract useful information into their respective art. Another book, Advanced Dim Mak by the same author is also highly recommended. Target points and illustrations are good and clear. Author also did a good job in describing the location each time a point is mentioned complemented by illustration. As a martial artist myself, I am satisfy with the content of this book. I would strongly recommend anyone who is keen of self-defence (not sport martial artist) to read this book as equipped with the dim mak knowledge, one will definitely be more confident in defending oneselve when the need arises but equally important is the deadly skill of dim mak should be practised in restrain and not abuse. This is definitely a better book I have read so far.

I have seen this method in use while in the military. It is startlingly accurate and amazingly easy for those who have learned it. In the words of Montaigue, it takes a lifetime of study to perfect, but in my experience even an elementary understanding can be a game-changer. Good read, sometimes tricky to follow charts, but worth the money!

Master Montaique breaks the information down to earth so that it is very easy to follow and understand. You should also purchase his DVD's on the subject to get an even better understanding of the information being presented.

This book is very imformative on many DIM MAK moves for self defense. It is very interesting, you really should be in a martial arts class to learn how to do all the moves correctly and practice each move. On the street only use in life or death situations. This book and all the DIM MAK books is highly reccommended.

I've picked up A lot of the points of the healing art from this book already, and I still have A lot left to read. I really enjoy it and am looking forward to it, still.

If your serious about your martial arts then this a must Erle montaigue is the best internal martial artist and the reason I started practicing tai chi wudang and bagua.

This truly is a great book, and its very easy to understand. I just love the healing aspects of the book as well.
