It was easy to hang, just take off the links if it’s too long. I thought the chains may catch as you walkedthrough, but they are smooth, and don’t catch, or twist together. The door walked through with no worries. But the bestthing, is it does what it says, keeps out flies. It sits on 2 screws that need to be drilled into the exterior wall, but once in they can stay and the curtain can be removed and put back into place as often as you wish - the bar at the top just sits on the screws, and since putting it up it hasn't fallen down (yet!).Most importantly ... IT WORKS! We have this up at our kitchen door, and during the recent super sunny May we didn't have a single fly, bee, wasp or other flying thing in our house although the garden was teaming with bugs flying around. And better still, it is so easy to walk through, even with a basket of washing or 2 glasses of wine.
