Our 11-year old grandson enjoyed this book immensely. We discussed it with him later. He had several questions which we answered by using Google.

My son loves this book. It is good for flipping through and reading a little bit about many different things.

I ordered 6 of these books to use as party favors at my son's birthday party. I paid for 6 books, but received only 1. Such a waste of money, and such a disappointment for my son!

Overpriced. Like a pamphlet. Only 48 pages, and that includes the index and bibliography! The book is tiny to begin with, 5" x 8" and each 'place' gets a tiny 2 page spread with about a paragraph worth of minimal information. Here is what is covered: Stonehenge, The Pyramids, The Easter Island Statues, Stone spheres in Costa Rica and South Africa, Machu Picchu, Chaco Canyon, Atlantis, Angkor Wat, The Bermuda Triangle, Roswell NM, and Oak Island Money Pit. Book seems overall silly. I expected more from Time books. A total waste of money. Even though I'm glad I bought it used for a reduced price, I still overpaid. I wish I had read a review like this before I wasted any money on this. Save your money and use Wikipedia instead, you'll learn so much more for free!
