Black My Favorite Spatula with Holes

Perfection. I use this spatula constantly for making everything from burgers to grilled cheese to whatever. It's a great size and nicely made. I use it w/ my griswold cast iron and Le Creuset pans. I also have their smaller version (which is great as well), but this version with the holes it just next level fantastic.

I came back here in 2025 to purchase another of these for the cottage because it is the perfect spatula. What's with all of the negative reviews? Are you guys leaving these on a grill or in an oven or what? Been using mine since 2017 and there's not been even a nick out of it. Still looks new. I use this EVERY time I use the frying pan. Initially purchased because I love dropped eggs on toast and loved the holes to drain the water, but it quickly became my go-to spatula because of the size. Cooking utensils are way too big now. I just don't get it.

Perfect spatula for small non-stick skillets and I use it anywhere else as its the best fitting to my hand that I have. Well worth the price and I should have bought more so I could have one when the others are in the dishwasher or sink. It IS MY FAVORITE! Update: This sheds plastic at the edge over time. I left one sit in a hot empty skillet, it melted a divot in the handle, then it snapped at that divot while applying pressure to a hamburger patty. I'm going to buy another because I don't know of a better solution and I like the shape and size. I've owned this one for a long time so maybe the answer is to replace them when you see them wearing and shedding, even melting. I'm changing it to 4 stars because of durability over time.

Not flimsy

I guess I should have known from the price point that this would not be a super high quality item. Was looking for a spatula for a non-stick pan and thought I would try this one. It works fine and is supposed to be heat-resistant to 410 degrees F. I haven't pushed it, so high temperatures are untested. The edges of the blade are beveled, but the spatula blade is pretty small, just under 2 1/2" wide and just over 4" long. I tend to buy more professional quality utensils for use in my kitchen, and this one is not one of those, but as I said in the headline, for around $5 it is not bad. Would I buy it again? No, I would go for something higher quality, but if I were really on a tight budget, this is a pretty good choice. It does the job.

I returned it unused the next day. Eight dollars was about 3x what I felt it was worth. It was small, hollow back handle, did seem decently stiff though, but it also felt like something you get from a dollar store for a dollar. I get it, under ten bucks, don't expect the world, but I also didn't expect something I felt I was overpaying for either.
