Hi, I'm not sure about that particular exam board but think it will be really useful for any exam board for both revision purposes and to use during the year to look up formulae/ areas of the curriculum they can't remember or are unsure of. All of the children I tutor use them and find them useful and they are inexpensive. Hope this is helpful.

in my view it is a quick reference tool that takes you to the core information, helps explain topic very simply - and any student needs to look into each subject area where they are weak to build firm strong knowledge - this is a revision tool and aid to cover topics - useful at any level

This book saved my masters degree!

I can't recommend this book highly enough for people needing to quickly learn maths basics. I scraped through the Scottish equivalent (slightly different syllabus) of GCSE maths when I was 16, then literally forgot maths existed for the next 16 years until I started doing a masters in computer science at the age of 32, which was very maths-intense! I was struggling big time so I crammed this book in 4 or 5 days over the Christmas break. It helped me understand a lot of the maths in my degree, and gave me the foundation I needed to learn the other maths needed (including some A-level). The book achieves being both very short and concise, yet very informative. I still refer to it frequently.

Engaging & colourful, excellent value

Brought a selection of Maths functional skills books and this one is the most engaging. So well laid out, with colourful pages. This book breakdowns each section in nice simple ways. It shows you 'How' and then gives a practice page, answers in the back of the book. My daughter uses this book alongside others, this is the go to if she needs to understand how to do the working out. Free app code in the book makes this very good value for money.
