Really nice potholders! The color is a true red that matches my towels. They are terry so they feel soft on the hands. They are larger than standard potholders so they can work on any pot and prevent burns. Good price too!

I love these potholders. They are nice sized, well made, thick so your hands don’t get burned on hot pans and can work as a trivet to protect the counter as well. They wash nicely with minimal fading and shrinkage.

I had a pair of these potholders in red for I don't even know how many years. At one point one of the hems started to unravel, and as I no longer mend (shame on me) I got rid of it. But I still used the other one because I really liked it and it held up well in washing. I tried other brands, at least 3 different ones, but they fell apart, the material wore off around the edges, the hoops were tiny, or they were just too lightweight or heavyweght. I am now back to these again. I like the weight and flexibility of the single layered potholders - I tried their pocket mitts but neither hubby nor I liked them because we don't use the pocket part, and they are just too thick to handle properly if you try to use them as potholders. These are big enough that if you don't think the single layer is going to cut it you can double them over, which I do on occasion. I bought another set in red (goes well with my black accented kitchen, and just ordered the 2 pair set in federal blue (on sale) to match my (Ritz) kitchen towels. Not going to bother with other brands anymore. If a hem unravels, maybe I'll try my hand at mending again. Maybe.

These pot holders were exactly what I was looking for. Strong, heat resistant, and pretty! They are the right thickness to provide protection from heat as well as allow enough "feel" to ensure a good grip. This was my second order for this product because I like them so much.

Use these to cover my Humming bird feeder in the hot weather. It insulates the feeder from getting too hot in the sun/heat of the summer and has improved the intake of the Hummingbirds a lot. Plus the red still attracts them to the feeder. Read about it on a Birding site.

Love these 100% cotton pot holders... have been looking to replace my tattered ones for ages. Also bought them in Cactus green.

There are no pockets as shown in photos, and i burn myself taking hot pots out of the oven.
