Aomekie 40070 Astronomy Telescope for Adults Beginners & Adjustable Tripod

This was a gift given to a 5 year old boy and hence I haven't opened it. I understand the boy loved it.

I bought this for my son, and he absolutely loves it! It was easy to set up and we had so much fun looking at the Moon together. It's lightweight, simple to use and has really sparked his interest in space. A brilliant first telescope and great value for money.

I am a bit disappointed with the size of the tripod for telescope but thats my bad for not reading description properly, its literally only 1ft off the ground. Its also a sky & space only scope which i only found out today. So you can't look at wildlife because its upside down. But apart from that its a good first one for my 6 year olds grandson.

Very light and flimsy, difficult to set up definitely not for a child. Poor value for money I’m afraid. Went to the site for help but it’s showing that the page is unavailable!!

I’m not the smartest tool in the box but I built this and couldn’t see a thing. And yes the cap was off. Didn’t feel cheap or flimsy so I’m guessing it’s something I did wrong but instructions were not very clear and I’ve lost interest now. Next hobby…

Easy to use, good quality. My daughter is very happy with it

Perfect gift for my grandson.Just the size he needed.

I bought this to do some amateur stargazing with my children. This looked the ideal starter telescope. I don't think it is very good for the following reasons: - The tripod is small and not very sturdy. - The tripod is also not very tall and doesn't allow the telescope to elevate enough to see things at a high elevation. - There are no instructions on how to actually use it, just how to set up. - It is virtually impossible to adjust and secure the telescope on a target. The mechanism isn't smooth enough. - The phone attachment doesn't work well with large smartphones. Overall, although it can produce a clear image, I'm not impressed with this telescope. I would shop around and find something better.
