The size of the shoes is for women or man cause i'm 8w us but 7m us?

The shoe size is for women US. I am a 7 1/2 in these sneakers and ordered my true size. However this particular style was a bit snug width wise. I stretched them - which I never have to do, but didn't want to spend time trying to break them in. Hope that helps.

Size up from your normal size, it runs narrow and small. With a different type Puma shoe l am an 8.5, but in these had to get a 9.
