this book has a lot of information about the world cup. for all you sports fans. it looks back on all the world cups in the past years. I would seriously read this book if you are really into the world cup

My 6 year-old is a soccer fan and we have enjoyed reading about each world cup. Can sprinkle some world history & geography lessons in there, too. I learned a good bit about soccer, too! Highly recommend for soccer fans of all ages.

This book is one of a few that was perfect for my soccer-loving, soon-to-be 13 year old son. He finished it in one night. My hats off to Matt Christopher for writing such an engrossing and true-to-life piece of writing.

This is NOT a kids story despite what it and the description says. Some good Hitler and plane crash talk.

an incredible book. great text filled to the brim with brief but accurate and vivid descriptions of the previous world cups. Also tells about founders of world cup and the origins of soccer. MUST HAVE BOOK BY MATT CHRISTOPHER

A good read. Both my son and myself enjoyed it. I read a few things I did not know. I think the women's world cup deserved more space but overall it was enjoyable.
