Nice Formula, Gentle Lather, Nice Natural Omega Oil Smell
I had bought this before some years ago and was hoping the smell didn't change and I'm glad they didn't change it. Many people say it smells like Fish Oil and I can see why. To me it smells like nice omega oils, which is what it has- I like the smell when I need to take a break from my fragranced body washes and I'm having itching on my body or hands. I used it a few times when I was having episodes of itching and it helped. If you're looking for an unscented bodywash, this is not it! Although it says it's unscented (which is true, they added no fragrance), there is definitely a strong omega oil smell! Once you are towel dried, you can smell it on your skin but only very lightly- After about 2 hours there should be no smell on your skin. I like that it has a small list of ingredients and smells natural. It is a nice formula in that it has a nice lather and leaves the skin soft without any residue after rinsing! It is also great as a hand wash if you have very sensitive hands or are having episodes of dryness or eczema on the hands, which I had for a few weeks. I used it a few times as a hand wash and my hands healed, even having a nice glow as if i had applied a light oil on them. The only downside is that the formula is quite runny and the bottle dispenser is not appropriate as it spills when you dispense it. It would have been better in a pump or a dispenser made for runny bodywash. So my solution is saving some handwash and bodywash bottles from other washes once I've used them and putting this bodywash inside and it dispenses nicely! I will order several more of this bodywash, especially for the dry, cold months where I will need this as a handwash and bodywash. It has a light milky-white lather, so putting it on a loofah sponge required more product than usual, so you're better off applying it with your hands if you dont want to use up more product. Also, be careful, as it can get slippery in the shower. I did try mixing some of this bodywash with a baby wash to see if it thickened and took on the fragrance and strangely, it got very thick and still maintained a stronger oil smell than the fragranced baby wash. I had to add a little water to dilute the thickness and it's a nice formula mixture- using this as a facewash. I hope they dont stop making it, as I didnt find it in Target like before, and it's too expensive at pharmacy stores like CVS- I had to order it on Amazon where the price is better. Overall, I highly recommend this product for very sensitive skin or if you just want to have soft, glowy skin.

Good for dry skin, doesn't test on animals
I grew up in the humid South, so when I moved to Southern CA my skin got so dry. It was really uncomfortable. I started using this body wash oil, and I really like it. It's unscented, but the oil has a kind of nutty smell, similar to oil supplements but not as strong. The smell doesn't stick around at all, though. It does a great job of making you feel clean while still leaving your skin moisturized. And not an artificial, weird lotiony-moisture- just clean and comfortable. My skin does feel much nicer, though I'm still using a moisturizer every few days, too. Also, the makers of Euricen don't test on animals, though I don't think they've gotten Leaping Bunny Certification, so take that as you will. Neither my husband nor I have sensitive skin, so I'm not sure whether this would be good for those with sensitive skin or things like excema, but I would expect it to be. Although it's good for sensitive or super dry skin, I do get bored with the lack of scent. I just add essential oils to spruce it up. Overall a great product- nothing exotic or luxurious, but the fact that it's so basic means you can modify it pretty easily with your own oils or scents for fun. This is a staple at our house- my husband and I use it religiously!

Verified consumer and product user since 2014. Quality Product for Sensitive Skin and Eczema minus the expensive pricetag
Our son has extremely sensitive skin. In 2014, he had a major skin breakout that took us several doctor visits to diagnose. Two doctors diagnosed him with eczema and referred us to a specialist. The physicians were adamant that skin conditions are extremely hard to treat. They wanted us to realize that this would not be easy. The doctor gave us samples of two products. One sample was this product and the other was Aquaphor Baby Wash & Shampoo. We use the Eucerin in the bath water and the Aquaphor to wash our munchkin. It worked! No pricey specialist, medications, or creams. This did the trick and has work for years. When the weather changes and we have more severe flair ups we use CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. The doctor will sometimes prescribe a prescription steroid to mix with it. These three things have been life savers for our little boy. Skin conditions are tough to treat. Medications and treatment can be extremely expensive and often yield no benefit. This is a review from a mom that these products work. Yes, the Eucerin is oily. It's an oil to moisturize the skin. No, we have not ever had problems with it smelling, but I guess that's more of an individual biased. That said, it doesn't have a bad smell or a great smell. It's really plain, but if you think scented products typically cause more problems. The bottom line it works.

Amazing for allergic, sensitive skin
UPDATE: I've been using this every day, head to toe (hair included) for almost a year now. I'm not allergic or sensitive to it AT ALL. That's incredibly rare for me. When I developed a new sensitivity to my conditioner (yay) and had to go without while I searched for a new option, my hair was not as shiny or smooth, and it got tangled easily, but it had good body and didn't have ridiculous breakage. So if you're the no conditioner type, this is a good option. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I hate trying to find skin care products. I'm allergic to a bunch of stuff, so I can't use most body wash, bar soap, shampoo, or lotions. I also have eczema and painfully dry skin. There is a grand total of ZERO shampoos and bar soaps and only ONE body wash at my local Walmart I can actually use. I hate it. It leaves me feeling slimy and doesn't wash well enough to prevent stinky body odor. I've used this for about a week now and I love it. So far I haven't seen any of the early warning signs that my skin is about to dry up and try to fall off. I use it as a body wash, shampoo, and for hand washing. CONS: It has a mild fishy smell You have to shake it up every time The fish smell doesn't linger, so I only have to endure it while washing, I don't walk around all day smelling like a tuna. PROS: Reasonably priced Creates a decent lather Rinses quickly No stinky armpits Moisturizing enough I don't have to use lotion constantly It works well as shampoo Those last two are HUGE bonuses for me. There isn't a single shampoo I'm not allergic to at the grocery store, so washing my hair involved contortions and a ridiculous amount rinsing, trying to keep it off of my body. No matter what I did, I always got shampoo somewhere. Now I just lather on this body wash from head to toe and don't worry about itchy, flaky patches. Lotion is equally problematic for me. 100% petroleum jelly is the only moisturizing product I can use every day. Everything else makes my skin itch, crack, and flake if I use it for more than a few days in a row. With this I can skip lotion after my shower and washing my hands. Now I only use a little on my hands before bed. I REALLY hope my skin doesn't get sensitized to this in another week or so and freak out! I really like this stuff!

Whoa Smelly!
Yes, it stinks and No, it doesn't lather, but I love it! I have a condition all over my body that includes terrible stinging and itching. When I first used this product, I was put off and figured I'd use it up and rely on my tried and true Aveeno Skin Relief Wash. I know that bubbles aren't necessary, but I grew up on bubbles so I mixed it with the Aveeno on a bath poof. At this point I could use it straight but mixing it stretches it out since it is a little pricey. And oddly enough, I now find the scent comforting. Weird. I am 68 and never had particularly dry skin. Now it is a little dry so my go to is Neutrogena Sesame Body Oil in hot weather (very light). Otherwise, Eucerin Skin Calming Creme if my skin feels grouchy. If you don't already know, it is fabulous! I apply either on wet skin out of the shower. Another practice I have adopted is showering before bed. I feel peaceful, clean and ready to sleep. Think about it. Shower in the morning and get dirty all day, regardless of your occupation. Then you get into bed on clean sheets that just get dirtier all week! Ugh. A note about scent. Our culture is addicted to pretty smells. I love pretty smells, too, just not in personal hygiene and certain other products.

GREAT results! No moisturizer after shower.
I have used this once and it is a game-changer! My skin has stayed comfortable in this dry, winter, forced-air heat air for 3 days (3 days on advice of my dermatologist; I do touch-ups with a hospital dry wash in between)--never happened before with any other body wash. It is odd to put on, as it is an oil and I use a scrubby and it falls through the netting. It just barely foams, so I can't just look and see if I missed a spot. I had to re-apply to the scrubby twice to be sure enough was on there, but I did not use much each time. I usually itch a lot, especially at bedtime, and I have had NONE of that! I had seen the dermatologist for a mole before I got this and he suggested it when he noticed my dry, flaky skin. I don't have to put moisturizer all over my body after my shower using this. I have a very thick scrubby (on a stick), so I might suggest trying a thinner one to be sure the cleaning oil is readily available, but I will keep using mine because of the stick. I had to buy 3 bottles of this at once, so I am glad it is such a good product!

Very moisturizing, but doesn't smell nice
I've struggled with very dry, ashy skin ever since moving to the northern part of the US, especially during the winters. This is one of the few body washes that have been helpful for me to use to keep dry skin at bay. It has the consistency of oil, it is thin, not thick like typical body washes. It will not lather up much, if at all. But, it also will not strip your skin dry like other body washes and soaps. Now, on to the bad. It doesn't have a nice smell. Some reviewers have said it smells fishy, but in reality it smells like soy oil. If you've ever smelled a block of tofu, you have an idea of what it smells like. It's really not a pleasant smell to be rubbing all over your body, especially first thing in the morning. I countered the smell by using an in the shower body lotion, such as Olay or Nivea, to mask the odor. If you're looking for a body wash product that provides a similar level of hydration without the stink, there are two products on the market that I've tried and recommend. For those wanting an unscented product, Cerave makes an Eczema Body Wash that has a similar oily consistency- I use this on my daughter who has eczema. For those who would like a scented product, there is Bioderma Atoderm Cleansing Oil. The Bioderma product has the same oily consistency as the other products, with a light pleasant scent and is available in both small and large sizes so you can try it out before committing to a big container.

As smooth as baby's skin
I have a sample bottle (received from my dermatologist's office) sitting on my medicine cabinet for years. I decided to try it one day and I was sold. My skin used to itch in the winter from the cold/dry air and taking long hot showers. This not only stop the itch, it also make my skin feel so smooth, like a baby's skin. I decided to pour some into all of my hand soap dispenser in my bathroom/kitchen sinks. No more dry hands. The smell is different but I don't mind because I definitely do not want the stinking perfume that can triggers my allergies/asthma. The smell will not bother you as long as you dont over do it. Just a drop or two and mix it with your favorite body wash... and the result is amazing! Pros: Everything Cons: Could be a little bit foamier. Wish it comes in a pump or a better dispensing bottle.

Great product for managing Eczema
This product is great and I have used it for many years now on a daily basis to help manage eczema. Shame Amazon Australia charge a lot more than what I used to pay ordering directly from the US. They also now restrict buying direct from the US (it is a US product) - disgraceful!

Gentle on skin
I was recommended this product by a friend and not used any other on my skin. It is gentle and a good product with no smell. Love the feel.
