An awesome story for In Space and Lost Galaxy fans!
Having watched the original series as a kid, I was excited to see that the Psycho Rangers were getting a graphic novel. The ending sets up the possibility of them returning or (hopefully) getting a series of their own. A must read if you liked In Space and Lost Galaxy!

Power Rangers fans have to ask: do you think Junki Takegami and Judd Lynn had any idea how popular the Neziranger* would be when Junki created them and Judd adapted them for Power Rangers in Space as the Psycho Rangers? I'm willing to bet not but here we are. After only appearing in 10 episodes across 2 series, they are some of Power Rangers' best known and loved villains (and bonus points for doing so despite never appearing in the original and nostalgia favorite Mighty Morphin Power Rangers). So much so that, in the Ranger fandom, there was excitement when Psycho Green was introduced in issue 20 of the main comic series and when his and the other Psycho Rangers were confirmed to appear in this original graphic novel. So how did it stack up? Well, I did not title my article sarcastically :) I absolutely loved this book. Some parts were a little rushed in parts but it was a unique story that did a great job exploring the Psycho Rangers and Karone. It draws parallels between how Karone was redeemed and her attempts to reform the Psycho Rangers while needing to convince the Space Rangers that they can be saved. It's a fairly powerful and deep story, at least by Power Rangers standards. I love Boom Comics' output for how they go under the surface and explore how being Rangers affects them psychologically and The Psycho Path delivers, although there's some good action because, of course, it's Power Rangers. The ending straddles comfortably between ending things well enough as a stand-alone while also having everything set up for a sequel (which I'm hoping for :) ) It's a sort of sequel to both issue 20 of the MMPR series (conveniently included with issues 17-19 in MMPR Volume 5) and "The Trial of Astronema" from the Power Rangers 25th Anniversary Special (included in MMPR Lost Chronicles Vol. 2 with the 2018 Annual) but you don't need to have read them to enjoy this book. It just makes it more entertaining. You also don't need to have read "Psychotic", the exclusive story from the now out-of-print MMPR Year 2 Hardcover collection... I'm sorry, I meant "FORMERLY" exclusive story from the now out-of-print MMPR Year 2 Hardcover collection, because the story is included at the end of this graphic novel. For those who already have the Year 2 hardcover, I'm sorry you have to rebuy this short story but for those who didn't buy Year 2 because they already got volumes 4-6, this is a welcome reprint. I figured "Psychotic" would be here after the Year 1 exclusive story was reprinted in Lost Chronicles vol 2 but it's nice to confirm it. It gives Psycho Green's origin that fits with the character as seen in The Psycho Path and is just a nice addition, especially for fans buying the paperbacks/digital editions. Even without including "Psychotic", this is a must buy for anyone diligently collecting Boom's Power Rangers comics (be it paperback, digital, hardcovers, issues, or every darn release). This is definitely the best story from them yet and arguably the best Power Ranger story ever, TV, movie, or otherwise. Highly recommended.

Godibile in ogni caso.

The Psycopath is a great graphic novel that continues Karone's story as she tries to reddem the Psycho rangers. Very interesting twists, especially regarding Psycho green.
