Dont normally do reveiws but felt thos deserved one.beautiful colour dont worry looks very dark at beginning.this was a rich thick creamy product.no smell.and plenty of it.no conitioner in box and usually my hair is knotty after dying no need for conditioner...it left my hair silky smooth and able to comb it and bear in mind I hv curly hair I would buy this again in an instant

I'm on a journey to get my hair healthy again as it had started to go thin due to menopause. I used to bleach my roots every 8 weeks or so in order to have bright fashion colours ( pink/ purple ) , and with doing this a lot of hair at the nape of my neck and around my hairline had broken off. Since having ditched the bleach and the broken parts now growing back in nicely my hair was starting to look a bit drab as I have lots of white hairs at the root ( about 4 inches worth ). I was just using my usual semi permanent colours, but after about 3 washes the white hair was popping through again and sticking out like a sore thumb. I spent a good deal of time looking for purple colours on Amazon that cover grey/white hair. And I came across this one which is permanent. It's not going to do as much damage to my hair as bleach will as it is a conditioning based permanent dye so I'm so happy that I can now carry on having purple 💜 hair without struggling on how I'm going to cover my white hair and risking more damage to my hair. This hair dye is absolutely amazing, it is thick in consistency as it is a conditioning based permanent hair dye so trying to squeeze it from the bottle once mixed is hard work so next time I will put it in a bowl mix it and use a brush. The colour came out even all over and my hair didn't feel dry after so I'm happy that I am not doing damage to my hair. Highly , highly recommend this dye it is the best!. Update after having washed it 3 times , the colour has faded but it's still really vibrant and such a beautiful colour. I did find that the colour faded a lot more quickly than other permanent hair dyes do , as the vibrancy normally lasts a lot longer with other brands , but it faded to a nice lilac colour after about 6 washes , I wash my hair once a week for reference, so if you wash your hair more often then the colour will fade a lot quicker.

Easy to use. The color is great. I used to dye another hair dye but it's no longer on sale, I was looking for hair dye for a long time to make my color suit me until I found this one and for three years I've only been using it like the Red Hot producer writes my color 😁

Don't bother, nice and purple when done, after 1 wash it turnt reddish plum and after 2 washes now red, its definitely not permanent and a waste of money

ABSOLUTELY STINKS! Sadly these days you cannot seem to get any products anywhere that don't have added perfume in them and I've no idea why hair dye needs perfume in in the first place but I've used smart beauty for years (usually colours) and tend to be loyal to a brand, so I gave it to go. I've used the bleach kit in the past for my son when he wanted highlights and it had zero perfume in it and didn't have a smell, but the blonde dyes seem to have added perfume and they absolutely stink. Also did not cover any of my greys which is the main reason I got it :( Left it on for the full 45 minutes as well. Also, it did not come with a conditioner which I thought was odd for a blonde dye which is obviously damaging. It didn't really matter in my case because I was using my purple conditioner anyway to use as a toner but it's strange that a blonde hair dye doesn't come with conditioner? All in all very disappointed :( really miss their candy floss hair dye, it seems to be discontinued and replaced with pastel pink which is not the same. It is brighter and darker. Also never seem to be able to get the pastel lilac colour any anymore either. Maybe it it's time to find a new brand after all these years :/

I absolutely adored this colour but had to bleach before hand which made for slightly brittle hair but I wanted the full colour. The formula worked well on my dry, wavy hair and 2 boxes did the job. It’s definitely on the pricier side of dyes but this colour with the addition that it’s permanent made it a good choice. My hair already struggles with absorbing colour so unfortunately it didn’t last long but it’s a beautiful colour and attaches nicely to lightened hair. I would buy again but for maintaining the colour it’s a bit too much for me

Je modifie mon précédent commentaire après avoir fait ma coloration qui est très réussie! Joli gris métallique, ne fais pas "vieux", couleur éclatante et même rajeunissante! Je comprends pourquoi il n'y a pas de soin dans la boîte : le produit est très doux, mais si vous avez les cheveux secs comme moi, un après-shampoing suffit. Je recommande ce produit les yeux fermés, il ne brûle pas le cuir chevelu comme les autres! Merci pour cette découverte!

I have previously had my hair dyed red by a professional, but being unable to get to a salon again during these times, I took the chance to touch up my hair at home. I also decided I wanted something more orange-red than the dark-red I had. This is definitely a bright orange shade, but after a few washes fades down a bit. I love it and have already ordered again.

I’ve had purple hair since 2018 so I would say I have years of experience with a variety of bright color hair dyes from many different brands. My natural hair color is medium dark brown, but I’ve had gray hair since I was a kid and 30-35% of it is gray. Semi-permanent color doesn’t really cover my grays, so I had to use Ion Permanent Brights in purple for my roots, and ArcticFox for the rest, which after trying MULTIPLE brands, this was the one that worked the best for me. I’d still had to co-wash my hair only once a week to make the color last as long as possible, re-color it once a month, and re-touch my roots every 6-8 weeks depending on growth. I love my purple hair but the maintenance process is exhausting! I NEEDED to find a more permanent solution. I stumbled upon Colour-Plex in Amethyst so I decided to give it a shot. I washed my hair with a clarifying shampoo before applying to get rid off as much of the previous color as possible. First impression: Colour-Flex was very easy to mix, it smelled good, application was smooth, and there was just enough product to fully cover my entire shoulder length thick hair. The recommended processing time is 25 minutes, but I left it on about an hour before washing it with cold water using only conditioner and rinsed it until the water was clear. I have to say that I’m very impressed with the results and I like it so far! Once my hair dried, I noticed that my grays were completely covered and it deposited enough color on the rest of my hair so I didn't need to use a color mask after to get it to the shade I like. The color is a deep purple with blue undertones that looks almost black inside and bright purple in natural light, my hair smells amazing and it is sooo soft! Also, I noticed that my hands and nails weren’t stained after styling it, which is a problem I’ve dealt with my previous method. It might be too soon to tell, but I’ll comeback with an update after wash day.
