**Q: is the blade replaceable?**
A: The blade is held on with four phillips head screws.  I have removed it to clean it and hone the edge a little bit.  If they sell a replacement blade then yes it.  However, I would recommend sharpening or honing several times before needing to replace it.

**Q: How many sheets can this cut at once?**
A: I bought the device to cut 1 page at a time.  In response to your inquiry, however, I attempted to cut 20 pages at once of 8.5"x11", copy machine/laser jet printer type white paper.  The paper was positioned in the portrait mode and the device cut a off 1"x11" strips with some resistance.  Nevertheless, it worked.

**Q: would it cut a 15 inch sheet full cut**
A: Yes it should cut full 15''

**Q: Is there some sort of clamp to hold the paper in place while you cut?**
A: No.  You hold the left edge of the paper in place with your left hand and cut the paper with lever.  There is a latch to hold down the lever when not in use.  I bought this for my daughter for her first grade classroom.  It is a very sturdy paper cutter and she likes it very much.  No need for a paper holder.

I organize a retreat where I need to make up pocket size agenda cards so that all of the cats are properly herded. After sitting at a table for hours cutting hundreds of these cards up with scissors, I decided a paper cutter was needed.Well... this thing is solid and it cuts super clean. It is overengineered for what I am doing.But... my gosh it is sharp. I have had it for over a year and cut hundreds or thousands of these agenda cards and the thing is as sharp as the day I bought it. It will draw blood if you just casually hit your hand on the blade... and it is that kind of cut that just keeps on bleeding forever! So... be careful around this thing! Guillotine is a good word for it.

I purchased this paper cutter for one reason. To cut heavy duty commercial plastic vacuum seal bags from a roll. Using scissors is extremely time consuming, tedious, and precarious at best. As it’s virtually impossible to cut them strait. This paper cutter does the job flawlessly and perfectly every time in seconds. Saves me a ton of time and effort. And now allows me to make my bags into any size I want. I haven’t tried paper in it yet but the blade is sharp. It rides on the cutting surface like you’re sharpening a sword and it’s heavy duty and built well. So I have no doubt it will cut paper as advertised. And I’m completely satisfied with the price. I’m confident that this paper cutter is going to last for years.
