Review: Excellent value - For the price this is an absolute bargain mechanical brake caliper. I use it on the rear wheel of my electric bike which is fairly heavy and it has performed flawlessly. Considering you also get a pair of brake pads already installed it's a no brainer if you are on a budget. Would highly recommend. Review: Great price and fits my e-bike perfectly (Alfawise X1) - Great price range, basic but fits very well and includes pads. Pads on my e-bike disc brakes (OEM) wore out after 900 miles (metal to metal). Couldn't find replacement pads as they're a very odd shape. Placed an order for this model which uses more widely available disc pads and it fits perfectly, and works as it should. This is a cheap calliper but is well made and includes a proper bolt to retain the pads (which I was quite impressed with). More importantly it fits my foldable e-bike with tiny wheels which I really had doubts about! ## Features - ❄Made of Aluminum alloy with rear disc brake, durable and useful. - ❄Easy to install and convenient to use, with strong braking force and smooth control. - ❄Anti corrosive and rustproof aluminum alloy material.Excellent heat dissipation effect. You'll need to order two (as I have just found out) to do both wheels. **Q: I have front hub and rotor 15mm - 4mm of protruding rivets so Caliper closest has to be less than 10mm to fit, outer size can be bigger** A: It's a cheap Chinese caliper, only part close to the disc is the pad. The brake pads are standard rectangular ones, this caliper should be a direct replacement for any mechanical disc brake and fit almost any bike. It's cheap enough to throw away if it doesn't fit or send it back, perhaps. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value *by D***E on 3 March 2022* For the price this is an absolute bargain mechanical brake caliper. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap, but functional with a degree of fettling maybe needed. *by A***Y on 2 March 2021* I bought this caliper as the original on my old bike stuck too far inwards and was hitting the hub of my new e-bike wheel. This one is much slimmer inboard, although there was a degree of "fiddling" required to make it fit my 180mm front disc. In the end I used the orginal shimano fork mounting and the new caliper. The new one came with four sets of "dome" shaped washers (like you find on brake blocks) which enabled accurate lineup but also let me move the new caliper farther away from the axis of the wheel. I think this allows you adjust for either 160mm or 180mm discs. Seems to grip well, with no apparent drop in rigidity under normal conditions. Recommended. ## Frequently Bought Together - Xrten Mountain Road Bike Disc Brakes Aluminum Alloy Outdoor Cycling Brake Mechanical Caliper - Zonon 4 Pairs Bicycle Disc Brake Pads and Spring Competible with Trp Tektro Shimano Deore - 2 Pcs Bike Brake Cable, Universal Standard Bicycle Brake Cable, for Road Bike/Mountain Bike/MTB --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/118644901-mountain-road-bike-disc-brakes-aluminum-alloy-outdoor-cycling-brake](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/118644901-mountain-road-bike-disc-brakes-aluminum-alloy-outdoor-cycling-brake) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
