The Puremade Caramel Sauce and Puremade Syrup are two separate product lines. The Sauce delivers a rich, buttery caramel flavor that achieves the authentic burnt brown sugar taste found in artisan caramel. It is thick and can be used in cold/hot beverages, garnish and topped over ice cream. The Puremade Caramel Syrup is thinner in consistency and captures the buttery, rich caramel, reminiscent of soft caramel chews.

Can this product be used for Carmel cake?

When baking with the caramel sauce it is not that thick and may need to be tempered to draw out moisture (thicken it up) before using it in a recipe. *Torani has not done empirical baking testing for the sauces.
