However, over a few months it left liquid seep through into the sponge and made the bed stink. Even after washing the cover. I don't recommend this at all if your dog is at all incontinent or is very wet. Also, the grips on the cover to stop the bed from slipping around on the floor fall off after 1 - 2 washes. We've chucked it in the bin now.
