I use the label maker ALOT. these cartridges have never failed to work, no jams, no print issues. For some reason there is an occasionally misspelled word - not sure if its the machine or me -. Seriously these refills are just what the doctor ordered for keeping production moving.

Nice blue easy to peel

White on Blue: This is actually a very light blue background so the white text has poor contrast. It looks like they don't carry this version any more. Wish they had a white text on dark blue background which from the photo is what I thought I was getting. Gold on Black: This one looks great! Good contrast. Using it for labels for my spice blends and for tea containers.

Doesn't fit my label printer, despite claiming that it should.

I like the thickness and the adhesive. This is a bit thinner and the adhesive is stronger than black on white tape. I also print a company logo. And the graphics are also better than standard tape.

I’ll tell you what, I’ve been buying the same version of blue lettering on white glossy background for well over 15 years. Every so often, when I need a resupply of label inventory, I noticed that the price would be higher than the previous one. Every single time. After a while, I stopped buying Brother branded label tape in favor of one of the numerous generic versions you can find out there. All of their prices have been considerably less expensive. About a year ago, I began to notice that they are ALSO raising their prices AND their structural quality… first the waxy label backing was suddenly much thinner, but also the partially scored backing which had a nice firm feeling to it, and the scoring would separate itself really easily making the back peeling much easier to do when in a hurry rather than the thin almost not scored current version. Now it makes it even longer for us to peel the backing off before affixing the label to the product. I know these seem like small changes is the average consumer shopper here but when you’ve got a team of 20 to 25 employees tearing off the backing of the label and fixing them carefully on a product or it’s shipping material it makes a real difference as to how many pieces per hour I can get out and that adds to the role cost that I pay per item in the end, which almost makes me feel that as time goes on I’ll never see the end of the ever increasing prices or even a nice period FALLING prices.
