I've seen many reviews online stating that this pen is just a cheap copy of the actual one.** A: I am 81 yrs old and have previously owned Parker "T BALL jotters". I recently lost one that I have had for 15 years and replaced it with this one. The only difference is this one is a retractable and my old one was a twist. It is every bit as good as my older one in quality and performance. **Q: Is this an actual Parker pen? I've seen many reviews online stating that this pen is just a cheap copy of the actual one.** A: Just like anything else there will always be a cheaper copy. The packaging is a good indication of contents. Parker pens used to have a life time warranty, they now have a two year warranty. **Q: Where is this pen manufactured? I've read reviews that the pens made in France are superior.** A: To the best of my knowledge they were made in England and are now made in France. The refills are made in France and India. They used to be a "twist" pen but now are a "click" pen. With the twist pen a person needed both hands to ready the pen, now with the click it can be activated with one hand. I lost my original pen that was a twist pen. When purchasing a new one, it is a click pen and I like it better. I prefer a "fine" type point, but that is an individual choice.
