Perfect fit just as expected!

I used this attachment to mix pie crust dough. It is VERY heavy stainless steel. It fit well on my kitchenaid stand mixer. I did have to make a small height adjustment as it was rubbing hard on the bottom of the mixing bowl. It did a good job mixing the ingredients.

Wow, I am happy to say that the pastry beater is wonderful. I bought the stainless steel version, and it is so great. I put it in the freezer, as someone had recommend. It is better than that little handheld tool and faster. I have painful hands, and being able to let the mixer do the hard work. Very, very impressed.

I have a Professional 5 Plus mixer (KV25G0X) that I really wish I had never bought. No matter how you adjust the lift of the bowl, the original beater either bangs on the bowl or doesn't come close to the sides, leaving tons of stuff you have to fold in to get your batter or whatever you're making mixed up.The only thing it's useful for is once a year for extra-large batches for Christmas, when the little bit it leaves around the sides of the bowl isn't as much of a pain. I bought this beater hoping it would work better, but it doesn't fit the mixer bowl at all. That model is not only listed in the product information as one it should fit, it's ON THE BOX!!!The top is too wide, rubbing really hard against the bowl when the mixer runs, and the bottom is nowhere near the bottom of the bowl. If I were to adjust it up so the bottom is close, it would rub so much on the sides that it would rip the rubber and burn out the motor, not to mention make a horrible racket (it scared the daylights out of my pets when I turned it on to test it like this). If I adjust it far enough down so the top of the beater isn't going to burn out the motor, the bottom would be a good half inch from the bottom of the bowl, completely useless.Do not buy this beater if you have a KV25G0X. Better yet, don't buy a KV25G0X.

I’ve only used this a few times, so far, but I’m really enjoying it. It works well in my Kitchen Aid 5 quart Artisan stainless steel bowl. It fits the bowl perfectly, and it does a good job of incorporating the ingredients from the bottom and the sides. Very little, if any, scraping with a spatula is needed. It works way better than the scraperless paddle that came with my mixer. It stays on the mixer well during use. It seems to be well made. So far, I’m happy with this purchase, and I would recommend it to others.
