I've only used it on my 1971 Honda CB 175, to remove the discoloration from the exhaust pipes. It worked very well for that. It MIGHT work on aluminum, but I cannot say for sure. Sorry. A little goes a long way. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blue Away works on some blue and most Yellow, and SHAKE WELL. *by C***A on October 21, 2015* I used this product on 2 motorcycles. First things first. SHAKE WELL. I mean, shake for 2-3 minutes and ensure the product is very homogeneous and mixed. For removing blue, it works fairly well. I had only used it on blue with a soft rag and considerable elbow grease. The blue was probably 70% gone. This was only one treatment. I recently used it on my BMW R1200RT that had considerable yellowing, and it removed it ASAP. This time, however, I used 0000 steel wool (finest grade). The steel wool, ripped into small pieces, was coated with BlueAway and it seemed to break up the surface tarnish quickly. I coated the area, and gave it small swirls with light pressure. After about 3 minutes, I used a dry terry cloth and removed any residue. After I was finished, I used Simichrome chrome polish (in the tube) and it made the chrome bright and shiny. This seemed to work for me. I offer no guarantee, warranty against scratches, and/or any other promises.
