Girls' Sleeveless Tank Tops

My 23yo autistic daughter hates clothes shopping, a gene I suspect she inherited from me. She was due for new tops to go with her many shorts; since we live in Florida, tank tops are imperative much of the year.Here are the stats and requirements:- If she stands up very tall, she is almost 5’3”.- She weights around 115 pounds.- Her shirts have to be fun, not “blank”.- If she wears an adult small, the shirt is often proclaimed to be boring. Because it is boring.- If she wears a children’s L or XL or XXL, then we encounter the problem that these shirts are often made for girls who are stout but not yet developed. In short, they are too tight across the chest area.I imagine that many parents of girls find themselves in this exact position: Neither the girls’ sizes nor the women’s sizes fit properly. What follows is my review of our adventures trying to find some acceptable shirts. I had to try.VERDICT: This was always going to be a stretch. Way too tight.REJECT7. Bra shows through across the back.REJECT8. It was still tight, gapped at the armhole, and hung awkwardly. We put it in the maybe pile, but realized we’d have to give away the shirt with the 12 on it (who thought that was a good idea?) especially since my daughter already looks young and then I was informed that the plain white shirt was unacceptable because it was boring.REJECT11. Amazon Brand - Spotted Zebra Girls' Big Kid 3-Pack Sleeveless Tank Tops, Mermaid, X-Large (12) $15.903 starsWHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: 3 tanks tops. 1 says “CALL MY SHELL PHONE”. 1 has a mer-cat on it. 1 is light pink and plain.VERDICT: After our experience with the exact same brand, we skipped trying on this size and went straight to the XXL, belowREJECT12. Amazon Brand - Spotted Zebra Girls' Big Kid 3-Pack Sleeveless Tank Tops, Mermaid, XX-Large (14) $15.902 starWHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: same as aboveVERDICT: Too tight and the arm hole was too large, allowing way too much visibility. A real pity because these were cute shirts.REJECT13. The Children's Place Big Girls' Tank Top, Blue 01617, XL (14) $11.212 starsWHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: Dark blue tank top with large golden butterfly.VERDICT: Too tight across the chest and the bra straps show with minimal movement.REJECT14. The Children's Place Girls' Big Novelty Graphic T-Shirt, Pink Quartz XL (14) $12.065 starsWHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: White-winged unicorn on a pink shirt. There are many white sequins on the unicorn.VERDICT: Perfect fit. She loves it.KEEPER - and I bought a second shirt in black with a wingless unicorn on it.

The quality of the clothing are really nice. I purchase the shirt set and leggings set. Love the print on the shirt & elastic band on the leggings.I Always buy my children's clothes 1 size up to give then extra room.. I love it!

I ordered these tanks for my picky 7 year old daughters. They don’t like tags, they don’t do itchy and they most certainly won’t wear scratchy.I was pleased that the tanks were very soft and met with my kids’ approval. They wore them daily for a week, even digging them out of the dirty clothes....yikes.For the quality (fairly low) and price (too high for what you get), I’d rate this lower. However, no whining and complaining about clothing texture is priceless. For this peace of mind, I’ll generously add a star.

I got the purple/white/pink combo. First, they run small. My nearly 3 year old is in the awkward stage between 2T and 3T. I am buying 3T clothes for her just expecting them to be a little loose. These are nearly too tight to get her head through. Second, the graphic on the "Call my shell phone" is annoyingly off center. If you're like me, it will annoy you the entire time your kid wears it. Finally, the shoulder hems on the white and pink shirts are different from the purple shirt. The hems on the white and pink shirt fold over when washed. And all of the bottom hems fold up.

Kids grow out of clothing very fast got this set for the summer and its a great deal for the price and how many you get. The fabric is thick not thin and the seems durable. Good for summer clothing for outside to play.

Bought these for the $10 sale price, they seem nice but she’s only wore them twice so can’t speak for their durability. They did shorten up unfortunately after washing & drying on regular settings so plan for that.

Nice basic tanks that are a good fit and bright colors. My daughter wears them a lot already even though it's still rainy spring in Washington. They're comfortable for her and cover a little more than most tanks I can find in her size which I appreciate.

Love these! Super cute and good quality. I washed them in cold and dried on low. They are a little long but we're going to use them as swimsuit covers. They fit slightly larger and do not shrink much if washed properly. We're definitely ordering more.also, there are no weird lines in the material. It's just the pic.

Love theses items... so pretty. Perfect size.. Super soft and thick..not to thick for summer though. Just makes the shirts more durable. My daughter is rough on her clothes. The sz is perfect for her too...
