KEEN Men's Newport H2 Sandal

Excellent sandals, true fit, comfortable, feel very durable and i also am liking the nylon over my previous Leather ones, (Had three pairs of leather Newport previously).I really like Keen Newport sandals as the front bumper rand helps stop stones dirt etc entering the shoe.I have also just received a pair of Merrell all out blaze sieve mens, but looking at them both i would say the Keen build quality better than the Merrell ones.My only gripe is they do tend to wear down around the heel area quite fast if used for land trekking / walking but i suppose the clue is in the title Hydro, so i suppose water sport is there main forte.

I am a female with a wide foot and can take anything from a size 5 to a 7 depending on style and make - in this instance I ordered a 7 and the fit is perfect (my husband who is a 7 with narrow foot finds them perfect also). I note a couple of comments say they look like clown shoes when they put then on - yes the tend to be clumpy and big but they do protect your feet on walks and are more functional than fashionable. I will say that you have to get used to them. They are comfortable and hard wearing. I have several pairs of KEEN sandals and love them.

Look well made, very comfortable. These were ordered after I returned a pair of Teva terafis which replaced a 10 old pair of terafis which were brilliant in every way, the replacements were not any where near the quality of the worn out ones. The Keens are great, not sure if they will last 10 years though. Oddly they have a waterproof label on, not sure how as they have holes in, they are sandals after all. I am thinking of trying a pair of their walking boots, some appear to be made in the good old US of A, these are sadly made in China which annoys me, still great though.

Ive had my first pair for well over a year and they have been worn extensively. They are comfortable and provide decent toes protection whilst hiking in them as well as using on the beaach and for boat wear etc as they are unaffected by wearing in the water. I have just bought this pair gto use a sslippers as conventional slippers never seem to last me - stretching or otherwise failing. These last pretty robustly and are proven in the field (and beach etc!).As always. my reviews are dependent upon whether I would repeat buy. The answer is yes, and I have.

Excellent sandal. Keen brand is top quality. The sole is made of strong material not easy to wear out. Can use for years before the heel is worn out. The upper sole is ok, do not overstretch, it is good for walking. If you want to trek or hike, try buying hiking books : Keen or Caterpillar brand. Slip proof these 2 brands.

This is my second pair. The first one lasted over four years of (spring / summer / autumn, that's Greece) almost everyday use including sea water environment. I am really pleased with quality and comfort (extremely light). Size-wise my previous pair was spot-on when new but opened up a bit and I decided to slightly downsize this time. 10/10 for quality and value for money.
