Awesome drill
If you're anything like me then you are comparing and contrasting every single drill on Amazon and reading every review right now. You want the best for your money. I originally bought the pink drill from Melody Susie and I loved that one so much that I also wanted to buy this one since the RPMs were higher. I love this drill. But keep in mind it needs to be set on a table and the spiral cord is attached to it. With the pink drill that I have I can literally take it anywhere with me... I can even do my nails on my bed with my dust collector. I would not be able to do that with this drill. Yes I do think this drill is a tad bit stronger. So if you're going to do multiple people a week you might want this one but otherwise you could probably go with the pink melody Susie if you wanted to save money. Just make sure you have good bits. I also bought my bits from Melody Susie and I have not been disappointed. I bought the gold ones. The drill handle itself is not as comfortable to hold as the pink one. Probably because the pink one is more lightweight but this is still easy to use and still comfortable to hold... just not as comfortable as the pink which is smaller. I know you're reading reviews from people that say it died on them or it didn't work... And that kept me from buying this. I have not had a problem with either of my drills. And I will tell you that Melody Susie has the greatest customer service ever. I bought a couple sets of bits from them and the one set I bought were not fitting correctly in the pink drill. They completely took care of me and the situation. That's actually when I decided to buy this second drill because their customer service is amazing and I do feel like they will back their products and take care of you. I was so scared by people saying these died on them by the third time or it stopped working after a month. I literally went through every drill on Amazon and read every single review. I even did some outside research on YouTube and other channels. So not only did I love my first drill but I loved it so much and trust this company now to buy a second one. This one. I'm mean I hope that let's say 6 months down the road if there's a problem with the drill that Melody Suzie would try and help me. You never really know. I would just register your product with them online or if yours comes with a warranty postcard (You know, those little tiny pieces of paper that we're supposed to mail back but we never do. I even think I threw mine away.) All I can say is they actually went beyond what I was expecting when they helped me with the bits I didn't like. I can't promise you they would do the same with the drills but all I can tell you is both of my drills are working amazing. I have used them every single day for probably 3 hours a day on and off. I am quarantined so I have nothing better to do than to practice nails. Looking back I wasted a lot of my time reading every review and trying to hopefully get something that worked (and wasn't terrible like a Walmart nail drill). It's always those five bad reviews that scare the crap out of you. And again I want to make sure that I say you have to have good bits. I do not use the bits that come with the product. I did it first and they got the job done but I don't think they're good. Get another set of bits from Melody Susie All of them I think are under 15 or 20 bucks and they will last you a long time. They have ceramic and titanium I think. If either of my drills have an issue or something happens you can trust that I would come back here and update my review. Right now I am telling you that you can stop reading all the reviews and just get this drill (or the pink one if you want). And if you're reading this later down the line and I haven't updated this, then they are still working great.

This is one of the best drills I've used.
I purchased this drill a few years ago, and it has proven to be the best I've ever used. It hasn't given me any problems and is still working perfectly. I definitely recommend this product.

Great for a beginner and beyond!
I am brand new to doing my own nail extensions. I heard some good reviews about polygel products on YouTube. From watching those videos, I decided I should really get an eFile (electric nail file). I watched videos of eFile reviews and decided on this one. This one was reviewed by a real nail tech, with many years experience. Plus, the price was right. I spent about $54 for mine. I love it! It looks so sleek and professional on its own. The wand has a twist lock to secure the mandrill. I especially love the control knob. You can have the power on, with the knob turned all the way left to keep it from turning the mandril (the part that holds the filing bands). The unit has a built in wand holder, that works just like a cup holder. There's a hole/opening in the top of the unit to hold the wand. So no extra piece to fiddle with, and no risk of dropping the wand and damaging it somehow. I use mine at a lower setting, with extra fine sanding bands (#240 for natural nails and even polygel fills). This is more forgiving for beginners. If you 'skip' with the wand, and accidentally go over skin, you won't cause any damage to the skin. I do not recommend using the #80 grit bands! They will cause damage to the skin and natural nail. Even for nail removal, I would use a finer grit. Just my opinion. For this unit, I was extremely apprehensive about using the file with my left (non-dominant) hand. As a newbie, I was nervous about using the file with my right hand! However, the machine has a button on the back, to turn the mandril in the opposite direction. I've gotten acrylic nails and nail fills for several years, and never knew efiles have that! Anyway, that makes it easier, and ultimately safer to use the efile with either hand. It's a toggle switch in the back of the unit. Toggle up for righties and down for lefties. Do watch a few YouTube videos before using any efile. I am so glad I did. Having said that, this unit is extremely easy and fun to use! I love being able to fill or change my nails whenever I want. Highly recommend this product. As a side note, there will be an astonishing amount of dust generated by this and any other efile. Take that into consideration when deciding where to set up. You may want to consider getting a dust collecting device. I am researching one. (As a side note, I love the polygel from Makartt. I use 2 primers! one is a PH bond from Gelish, the other is a protein bond from Young Nails. ) Again, I have used this product on my natural nails and on my polygel nail extensions. Polygel is soft and strong in comparison to acrylic, which is hard and rigid. I have not used this for acrylic nail extensions. Using this file with cured polygel nail extensions I get professional, realistic-looking results!

Love it
I love this drill. I watched so many reviews on YouTube and read so many reviews on Amazon that my head was spinning. I decided on this drill for ease of use and price. I am doing my on gel manicure at home. I was tired of hand filing the gel polish off. This was a great item for my needs. It has never over heated or stalled and cut off. I never put it to the highest speed. I think I stick to around 10-15. The bits that come with it are weak. Get a better quality set of drill bits. The drill wand is a bit large for my hand but not bad. I have had the drill for several months and I am very happy with it. Update January 2024: After 4 and a half years my drill has broken. The red light flashes and the it won't spin. I thought it might be dust but I emptied it and that doesn't appear to be the issue. I have had no issues this whole time and I do my own nails probably twice a month and I make press on nails for fun so it has been used quite a bit and I feel like it was a great value. It's more expensive now but I am updating my review because I am replacing my broken one with the same model.

Read before you buy
In a nutshell it's OK hence the 4 stars. Would I recommend it? Probably... but I'd warn you of some things first. Let me tell you my thoughts. Pro's 1. Very little vibration especially on higher speeds 2. Light weight 3. Easy to adjust speed 4. Not too powerful (so it's not too intimidating) but can also be a CON 5. Easy to change bits 6. The cable for the hand piece is generously long and soft making it easy to move as needed. 7. Foot peddle is easy to use. I also like the 6 slots for your frequently used bits and the integrated hand piece holder in the middle. The fact that it's compact is definitely a great plus! Now the Con's 1. Not powerful enough for hard to file off acrylics OR designs. (It stalled while cutting my nails down). 2. The air vents sit right where it lays on your hand so there's little airflow (machine WILL heat up, specially if you have it on higher speed). I had to do just a couple of fingers at a time so it would not overheat. Because of those 2 things I don't think that you can realistically use this in a business unless you just didn't have many clients in a day (or back to back). I didn't give it a 5 star, however, I feel that for the price it's a good little machine and I would recommend it. I won't be returning it. I decided to leave it on my gel station and use it for the smaller and lighter jobs. I will also add that when I finished my application I used it to file and shape my nails and it did quite well. I honestly think this would be a great machine for yourself if you're venturing into doing your own nails, dry manicures, builder gels or maybe if you just have a few clients. For the price I think it's good.

Easy to use, professional results, super cute design
Bought this as my first e-file after much research watching comparison videos and reading reviews. Got it to go along with a polygel nail extension kit (also a first for me). Unfortunately, about 15-20 minutes into my manicure it quit working and will not start again. As this was my first attempt at nail extensions my nails looked jacked up too! Ugh! I started looking for a replacement and was seriously considering a completely different brand as the experience really sucked, but I just couldn't ignore all the great reviews and didn't find anything I thought was as cute as this machine. So, I decided what the heck and ordered the same e-file and crossed my fingers that my first experience was a fluke. Well, today I used my replacement (which arrived after only a couple of days--quicker than I could send off the return!) and it worked perfectly!! Someone had posted in their review about running it at the different speeds for 20 mins at a time to break it in, and that's basically what I did and it worked! I did 15 min intervals at 3000 rpms, moving up three marks each interval until I got to full speed. I just left the blank bit it comes with in place of a real bit. The whole process took an hour and 15 mins. And, I don't know if that helped or not, but this time I had no issues and am sporting a damn beautiful manicure. So, I'm guessing the first machine was a fluke and am happy I stuck with it.

UPDATE 11/2022
At first I seen reviews stating the hand drill didn’t work so I was concerned since I already placed my order. I received it yesterday and I plugged everything in (didn’t read the instructions) and the hand drill did not work . After I read the directions it says “NOTE: align bc arrow with socket as arrow on the drill” (rephrasing it) but after I done that it worked smoothly. In the directions it tell you what to do and what not to do to keep your drill long lasting! Hope this help with the hand drill issue Update : 12/25/19 - so it’s Christmas and I had it for 3 months now using it about 1-3 times a week and it’s doing okay so far! I think it’s a whining noise now but it’s still works as it did when I first purchased it! I do clean it and try to maintain it and keep it in the box if not in use! But it’s still holding on lol Update : 2/20/20 Customer service stinks! I tried to order a replacement drill cord bc my other one gotten damaged and they are still giving me the run aroundthis been going on for 3 months. My hand drill cord seems as if it wants to give out soon. If the cord is bent a certain way with the hand drill it stops working. Will be needing a new drill soon I guess :/ :( Update : 6/30/2020 Customer service blocked my messages( guessing cause I emailed them a lot about my warranty). They responded but kept giving me the run around. I even paid through PayPal for my cord to be shipped ( I think only $8) I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company due to customer service. But as for the drill it is still holding on. It do still have the shortage but my husband cut the cord and connected a few wires that helped a lot. I have nail clients and it’s still holding on. I did order another drill which comes in tomorrow. YouTube : Kia’s Love ... I used it in one of my nail videos 11/2020 Now I’m ordering a new drill ... the hand piece has. Big shortage in it . Sad to say the review was correct. Save YOUR MONEY 11/2022 - I have the Kiara sky nail drill - you really have to invest in your success . This is a nice drill hands down. I used this Kiara sky drill in the nail shop constantly and at home.

Perfect efile even for a beginner
Amazing file, this is my first time using one and I decided to pay the extra instead of buying a cheap one and I am so glad I did. This efile is super cute, so small as you can see next to my hand and the hand peice is nice and slim. The bits that came with weren't ones I needed but I bought extra bits and the file is really nice. Would highly recommend for a beginner who is wanting to invest in their nails.

Great customer service
This product worked perfectly and did a good job with my acrylic nails. Unfortunately the handpiece drill randomly stopped working a few days ago. The seller was quick to contact me and try and help as much as she could. She offered me a full refund for the product as we couldn't manage to fix it. 5* customer service and would purchase from them again!
