This is what you want if you want an accurate BP reading!
Great to have a really good, reliable, BP instrument after using the “more modern” easier to use, but less accurate device. Thank you, worth every penny!

Good quality
Definitely worth the price. It is very functional and is definitely a great addition to any nurse or student nurse’s equipment bag. It is easy to use and very functional tool to have whilst in the clinical setting. It has a comfortable cuff and of good quality.

Great Product
Works great! Comes with everything you need.

good quality
Quality appears to be good. But, I should have gotten a smaller cuff. On a small adult, there is too much cuff, making it awkward to see the dial.

Would have been great if it’d been useable :|
Is it mean to say the most pleasant part of my experience with this cuff was returning it? (I haven’t done enough Amazon returns to get used to how quick and painless it is. Kudos!) The product arrived as described, apparently in excellent condition, and I figured my initial difficulties were simply caused by my lack of experience taking manual readings. But the more I experimented, read, and YouTube-surfed, the more I came to realize that the thing was simply defective. The first hurdle was the fact that the cuff was deflating through the bulb’s intake valve. (Not the release valve - that was firmly-but-not-too-firmly tightened all the way clockwise.) This made it impossible to fully inflate the cuff, let alone take a reading. Eventually, I found an alternative to covering the hole with my thumb: by holding the bulb so the intake valve was pointing straight downward, I could build up enough pressure to eventually inflate the cuff. That was when I hit the second hurdle: controlling the deflation. The cuff was still losing air by a good 5-8 mmHg per second with the release valve shut. To make matters worse, whenever the needle got to about 160 mmHg, it suddenly “jumped” downward to about 140 (with an audible hiss from the bulb), no matter whether the release valve was open or shut. Good luck to me if my systolic was ever in that range! Eventually I decided I wasn’t the problem...the sphygmomanometer was. Which brings me to returning it - a delightfully easy process that will culminate in me using the refund to buy another product, hopefully with better luck.

Ok to use, but hard to control
Works and consistent blood pressure readings. However it is very hard to control the air flow as you are releasing air: it goes from holding the air in place, to letting all the air out too fast, making it hard to get readings. This is probably where the decrease in price comes from.

Excellent Thanks amazon

Useless. A total waste. The machine never gives an accurate reading. Most unreliable. Want to return it.
