Usually I don’t bother to write reviews, however this is a product that must be talked about. This cream saved my skin after nothing else worked. I used lamasil and other creams, these seemed to ether make it worse or nothing at all. three weeks went by and my skin was terrible. I had it on my legs arms and back! The itch was insane so hard to sleep at night. By the time I came across this it had been 3 weeks of suffering. The minute I put this on, the itch was gone! I couldn’t believe it. Ringworm spreads fast and it’s highly contagious, the only thing that finally helped was using fungal wash to clean the affected area twice a day everyday, this must be done continuously. Also using a new clean towel every time for each area. One for the top of my body and one for the bottom. Final step was to apply the cream twice daily right after washing up. It’s a lot to work and it’s a pain in the ass. But it’s the only thing that made it better. New bed sheets every night so as to not re infect my self. Ringworm can stay i surfaces for months!!! Disinfect your house and be consistent. Hopefully this helps somebody. I couldn’t find any valuable info anywhere just bits and pieces, so here it is! This product is costly but effective and nothing else works! To me, it was worth every penny. Also I sued about 6 tubes and found that buying more at once was cheaper.

UPDATE: Tolnaftate seems very effective for my skin. I wanted to update my review however because I just found the generic version at Target for $3.99. Same amount. Same strength. ORIGINAL: I developed itchy patches on my skin after 2+ years of breastfeeding. My baby didn't have full-blown thrush in her mouth but my doctor suspects that some fungus from her mouth must have transferred to my skin. I have since stopped breastfeeding for 1.5 years but the itchy skin is so stubborn and continues to come and go. The Clotrimazole Betamethasone my doctor prescribed helped with itch and squashes flare ups but never completely eradicated the problem. It's a constant struggle and now I have skin discoloration. I found this product on Amazon with Tolnaftate as the active ingredient. I use it together with the Clotrimazole and the my itchy skin condition is much better. After a month, it rarely flares up. I hope that with prolonged and consistent use, my problem will go away once and for all. I also really like the cooling tea tree scent and feel. Helps relieve itching. For a 1 oz. tube of OTC antifungal cream, it is pricey but it is also FSA eligible. And the fact that it is working for me makes it worth it!

Not sure how or from what I got ringworm on my hand but it was scary since it was my first time ever getting it . I was told to get OTC antifungal cream by my doctor and that it would go away. So I got Lamisil antifungal cream. At first I thought it was kind of working but it seemed no matter how many times I put it on, it was taking way too long to go away. I used it for 3 weeks and the ringworm was actually starting to get bigger and still felt itchy all the time. At this point, I began to get annoyed and frustrated because it just wasn’t going away. So I decided to go on here and see if there was anything good that will actually help me to get rid of this thing. Came across this cream that had many good reviews and so decided to try it. Immediately after one application, it seemed like it was finally starting to get better. And after 2 weeks of applying it, the ringworm is basically gone. I would definitely recommend it!

I bought it because the description mentioned skin AND scalp but upon receipt of the bottle, the directions on the side of it specifically states that its ineffective against scalp ringworm. Ive been applying it anyway because getting a three yr old to take medicine needs all the help I can get. The circle on her scalp seems smaller so idk if her screams of abject terror from just seeing medicine is frightening the fungi or if the cream may be helping even if its just a little bit. Definitely fix the description because I feel like I wasted $24 on something I could've got from lotrimon for $10.

For months I was battling what I thought was a really bad case of athlete's foot. Every night like clock work when I came home and took my shoes off, my feet would start itching. I got it sort of controlled with a mix of cheap antifungal cream (because I was going through a tube a week) and Benadryl anti-itch cream, but the last few weeks I really thought I was going to die from itching. And the itching progressed from just at night to all times of the day. I made an appointment with my doctor, and then I googled "best cures for ring worm" because I decided that's what I had. I found this stuff on my first link so even though it was a little expensive, I figured it was cheaper than a doctor's bill. It arrived the very next day and I instantly applied it before heading out to work. Not one itch during my 10 hour shift. So then I come home and start to feel a little tiny bit itchy, so I apply some more and go to bed. The next morning I wake up with no itch and I apply some more cream. I come home from work, no itch. Not even one. The circles are gone from my feet and there is almost no sign that I had a fungal infection at all! I don't itch anymore, but I'm going to keep using this stuff for two weeks. I really doubt the infection will return. I even canceled the appointment with my doctor. This stuff is amazing. And it has a pleasant smell, too. Like tea tree oil, I think. If you're on the fence or want to try something cheaper, don't. Buy this stuff, because it'll start working THE SAME DAY and your life will only get better from here.

I was worried to use this product, since I have African American 4 c hair. After months of trying to figure out what was wrong with my scalp, I realized there was an fungal infection from cross contamination at a salon that doesn’t clean their combs and brushes properly. For months I had issues with the middle of scalp to the point i went to see a dermatologist who told me it was something else. In disbelief, I did more research and realized that alopecia is a type of fungal infection in the scalp. It was hard because there are no actual photos online that show you what it looks like on African American skin, but understanding the patches in my hair, scalp irritation, tingling, we’re all signs. I still plan to use this for the consistent 8 weeks, morning and night, but my goodness it worked in an instant by the third day I felt nothing. This product is a life saver and really does it’s job! I highly recommend for anyone with questionable scalp issues and not sure where to go, this product is definitely cost friendly and effective.

My daughter’s ringworm started in one spot but quickly spread to several areas of her body. Because she didn’t let me know about it, the ringworm just thrived on her body. We first tried Lotrimin for a few days which didn’t seem to slow down the infection. I took her to urgent care and the doctor prescribed Terbinafine (Lamisil tablet) to be taken once a day for 14 days. What a relief I felt, no more creams! This will finally take care of the problem! Got the pills and read the instructions and possible side effects. Upset stomach, depression, Lupus, possible loss of taste, liver damage.... What?!? Why in the world would a doctor prescribe this to a teen? Why wouldn’t the pharmacist warn me about these possible side effects? So the ringworm would be gone but we might potentially be dealing with a slew of other very serious problems! I spent hours on the internet doing research and came across Phytozine. I’ve been washing her clothes and sheets daily, cleansing the areas with rubbing alcohol and applying the cream 2-3 times a day. It’s working!!! After just a few days of doing this, some spots have dried out, others are starting to disappear and overall the ringworm looks to be on its way out the door. The product is not sticky, absorbs in just a few minutes and smells lovely. My only complaint is that the tube is kind of small. It’ll work if you have one or two spots, but she has a full outbreak. Just ordered another tube. Totally worth it!

Worked a bit, but not 6 times the price of Tinactin better.
