My Little Pony Princess Cadance Figure

When these ponies age, are they sent away on a block of ice into the middle of the Arctic because they are no longer useful? Granted, I don't know any of the ponies by name other than Cadance. Apparently, she's the best pony in Ponyville. I'm not a fan of giving these types of gifts, but if you met my niece, you'd find that she is one of the most sweet, considerate and caring children ever. You won't find many children that are happy just being around an old fuddy duddy like me without being bribed with chocolate or toys. What I'm getting at is that with or without gifts, she genuinely loves me, which I find is a rare quality in youth today. I felt as though she deserved a little gift from her cool uncle. After learning that My Little Pony is her favorite, I didn't hesitate to get this doll for her. When I surprised my niece with this pinkish pony, she quickly exclaimed, "Cadance!" I mention this because I was worried that Cadance was some nobody. However, she's kind of a big deal in the pony community. So pony fans will be thrilled with this gift. It's a well constructed, seemingly durable doll. My niece was very happy to add this to her pony kingdom. She adores it, and I earned a few more cool points in the process. As an aside, even though I'm not a fan of the wedding themed voice-overs, I let this slide because my niece is just a little girl who loves My Little Pony. I think it's more about the whimsy of having a herd of toy ponies that you've grown up watching, and less about the real life parallels or life lessons. My point - this doll is all in good fun, not an underhanded attempt to influence our youth into thirsting for marriage. I'd recommend this doll as a gift for anybody wishing to earn some cool points from a pony fan. Personally, if I were a kid again, I'd opt for a stick and a sprinkler system to run through so that I could vanquish some imaginary foes seeking to do me harm... but that's just me. Ponies are probably better.

Lovely item - my daughter was very pleased with it! Interesting to note that it was cheaper for me to ship two of these from America (inc shipping and import fees) than it was to buy one from the uk site......So her best friend was very happy too!

My 4 year old LOVES MLP and Cadance is her favorite, so we got it for her for her birthday. The doll is well constructed - nice heavy plastic that (so far!) hasn't been able to be scratched or had paint chipping or peeling. The wings are attached well and the doll can be carried by them with no problems. She's honestly beautiful and true to the show, unlike the Celestia doll, which MLP made pink, even though she's white in the show. The only reason I rated it 4 instead of 5 is the voices. Some of them are okay, "It's my wedding day!", "Lets dance!", but some seem just vain. "My dress is so beautiful!", a girlish little annoying giggle. But really even that isn't so bad. Overall I think she was worth the price.

My daughter has been begging for this doll for about 2 months--it arrived in perfect condition (exactly as shown, exactly the same as the ones in the stores) within the 2 day Amazon Prime time frame. It is a Christmas present, and I am a firm believer in delayed gratification... so she will have to wait another month to open it. It will be worth the wait for both of us. :)

Worth every penny. There are not many Princess Cadance ponies out there so I bit the bullet and bought this one and very happy that I did. Very well made and with the multiple phrases I don't get tired of hearing my 3 yo daughter press the buttons.

She's is just as pretty as she appears in the pictures. My 5 year old daughter has watched the Wedding Episode and replays the movie over and over again. The Wedding Princess Cadence pony is sturdy, although much larger than the other ponies. For packing purposes, this makes it difficult.

I actually purchased it for my daughter to give to her daughter for Christmas. My granddaughter is a My Little Pony lover as was her mother and although she plays with the ponies my daughter had as a child, the new ones are just as nice. Princess Cadence talks and there is music and it's a nice toy for any young child or older one too if they are into collecting.

She has a few statements, she lights up and her wings flap. She is a dream come true for a My Little Pony loving little girl. I love how easy it is to change the batteries! Beautiful pony that is now best friends with Princess Celestia.

This was bought as a Christmas present for my granddaughter so have not actually opened it yet. It arrived well before the estimated delivery date. I know she will be delighted with it.

Item as described but is extremely overpriced. The other figures int his particular collection - Nightmare Moon and Princess Celestia, are about a third of the price of this one. I only bought this because it is the only one available in the UK and my daughter asked for it for her birthday. Not worth the asking price, only buy if you absolutely must. Greedy seller!!

It's what my daughter wanted and I'm sure she will love it, but personally I find it expensive for what it is. The Light Up Princess Celestia does the same thing but is less expensive. Trouble is 6 yr olds don't think like that.
