Someone recommended this to me when my Norwegian Forest cat Hugo, was diagnosed with congestive heart failure due to a murmur he has had from birth. After arriving back from holiday to the cattery, we found him barely breathing, he’d lost a kilo in weight, and was not going to the toilet. We took him to the vet, who said it would be kinder to euthanise him. Everything happened so fast to make an on the spot decision. I didn’t want to be cruel or let him suffer but he’s also part of our family, and if he was going to pass I wanted him to be in his own home with people he loved, but not suffer at the same time. It’s such a difficult decision to make. The vet gave us pain killers, clopidogrel, and isomed, and said “Take him home and give him lots of love”. That night we sat up with him, as he looked very poorly and the next morning he looked pretty much the same. I have a friend who rescues cats, and she said she always uses “Young At Heart” on cats she’s rescued that have been diagnosed with CHF? To be honest, I was very sceptical, but on her recommendation it was try this or to go back to the vet to have him put to sleep. Well, we are 17 days in now with “Young At Heart” after ordering it from Amazon. He has this and his isomed medication from the vet, and I can’t believe it. This has honestly made such a huge difference. From being at deaths door, to how he is now, it’s an absolute miracle. He seems to be how he was before we left for our holidays, running around, playing, and very alert. Yes he sleeps a lot more due to his diagnosis of CHF, and I know his condition is guarded, but for now he is getting loads of cuddles, and looks so much happier. My vet couldn’t believe it when she saw him. I know he is also on isomed medication as well and that is a game changer too, but “Young At Heart” seems to have complimented this, and both seem to be working hand in hand. I mix bot his isomed and young at heart together in with his lick e lix and I have no problems. He loves the taste and it works every time. I can’t thank my friend enough, for her recommendation of this product. It has given us more time with our gorgeous boy, and he’s so much happier than before.

My cat has a serious heart condition, and we were going to the vet every three days. Since I started using this vitamin, everything has improved. For now, everything is going well, and it has become a vitamin I won't be giving up🙏🙏

Very pleased with these drops and I will continue to buy them for our beautiful Maine Coon cross. They are expensive but do last about 2 months for a large cat like ours. Happily, Sebastian has no issues eating his food when the drops have been added so dosing is not an issue either. Seb was briefly fainting when exerting himself (running up stairs etc.) due to his heart murmur but since he has been taking these we have had no further episodes. Definitely worth a try.

I asked my veterinary cardiologist if these were OK to use for my little cat who was born with a hole in the heart. After checking was given the nod to use them. At 1st she would eat so we well that she didn't know they were in the food. Not anymore.... Nope in the mouth followed by some lik-e-lix no problem as long as she sees me putting her little bowl ready before she has them... Straight to the little bowl which goes down a treat.

My little 17 year old cat was visible struggling with life. The vet said that she had heart tremors and wanted to do expensive scans that would no doubt stress the poor cat more. I tried this medication and after the second dose, my cat relaxes very quickly. She's still old and tires quickly but she is obviously enjoying life more now. I mix it in with lick-e-lix treats and she eats it with relish.

My vets have given up on my cat. They no longer wish to monitor his health and make excuses not to book him an appointment. He is 12 years old was recently diagnosed with early signs of of heart and kidney failure. I am not willing to give up hope just yet as he still wants to play with his siblings. I have only tried this product for two weeks and have not seen any changes yet, but I know its too early too tell. Unlike other pet reviews I read, my cat does not like the flavour and often turns away. Therefore, I have to put a little licke lix of his food to hide the flavour and any scent of the medicine.

Definite improvement! My cat hasn't been coughing when he wakes up since he's been on these drops. He has recently been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. And for some years whilst sleeping, fluid has been building up around his lungs which makes him do a few little coughs when he wakes up. It's not a good sign although he's been put on fluid meds (furosemide) since being diagnosed and otherwise has improved dramatically. Although reduced, the cough still lingered. Since I have been giving him these drops morning and night mixed in with his meals, I haven't noticed the coughing anymore! Happy days indeed!! My cat didn't particularly like the flavour to start with but I started him off with a very small dose and over the course of about a week, I gradually increased it to full/recommended dose and now he gobbles up his meals like normal. I definitely recommend this product especially if your pet has already being diagnosed with a heart condition! It's well with a try. I'll be buying this again, for sure!

This is the best supplement for senior kitties with heart issues. We had two cats and lost one cat to congestive heart failure in 2021. His brother was showing the same symptoms, and we started giving him this supplement. It was like a miracle for him! He stopped doing that reverse sneeze sounding cough thing, became more energetic, and lived four more years. One time, I didn’t realize we were getting low, and his symptoms started returning again before we were able to get more. He was 18yrs and 6 months old when all the symptoms started breaking through, despite the supplement, and we lost him a little over a month later. We really believe this supplement worked wonders for him!

Amazing product. My chihuahua made it 5 extra years with a heart condition using this product along with a heart pill from the vet. Now I adopted a Ragdoll cat who at 6 years was diagnosed with thickening of the heart walls. There is no known medication to help her from it progressing within a year to have a heart attack or can't breath. Since I put her on this product she's already playing and breathing better. It's only been a couple months. But I will review again down the road .

I have an older cat and he had episodes of his heart pounding hard. The vet said he has heart murmurs but due to his age there isn't much she could do. This formula really did help with those episodes he was having. They have almost gone away and when he does have one it is very minor now. As far as taste, he doesn't like it and I go direct to the mouth. But he does not gag or hack on it and will go about eating the treats he gets for suffering the medicine right after. I know the little guy is getting to the end but thank you for this product and helping his quality of life!

Our 8yr old girl got diagnosed with a heart murmur about 2yrs ago & her “CardioPet” numbers started climbing. They say normal range is <200… she went from 235 to 370 to 540 in 18months. They wanted EKGs & vet cardiologists… but we wanted to try this stuff first. After 6 months of use, she was back down to 320!! We were just hoping to SLOW progression - but to REVERSE it?!? 💕Now we think another 6 months & she might even re-approach normal range. Can’t recommend highly enough.
