Best Kindle atlas but with issues
This atlas is for UK step 4 students (US Middle School). It includes many thematic maps and very good map coverage of the UK, good coverage of Europe (except Italy) and the rest of the world maps are mainly just 2 page spreads of the continents. I would have liked to have seen a map of world religions since that is what seems to drive most international disputes. Maps are by Bartholomew so they are well done. There are very few atlases for the Kindle so being the best there it is not a high bar to cross. If you are not a Step 4 student in the UK and are looking for a printed atlas there are better options. There is an issue with this Kindle atlas. See the photo attached of a portion of the Russia map. A number of the maps have the text layer (place names) overwriting the key box and margins making it difficult to read information in those areas.

Beautiful book, very useful
In a time when schools are loathe to hand out text books and most subject matter is meant to be found online, this geographical aid is a blessing and has led to many different discussions and interest in the subject.Comprehensive book, using for GCSE study.

Not good as E-Book
Some pages are sideways and you cannot rotate. Navigation is difficult. Should have bought printed version.

Far from comprehensive
Full of information yes but an atlas should be about maps and this one is rather eccentric in its choice of which countries get a good map and which do not. Most European countries get at least a reasonable map in here (some even get a whole page to themselves) others (notably Italy) are virtually ignored. Good but far from comprehensive and overall very disappointing.
