I have one of these in my BioCube. It is easy to clean and just beautiful! My fish and frogs love to hide in its roots which look absolutely real. I have had to wash it multiple times in my effort to rid my tank of three types of algae blooms. It has been scrubbed with a brush, soaked in 10% bleach water and sprayed with 3% hydrogen peroxide. It still is beautiful and unscathed from all my abuse! I highly recommend this very nice aquarium decoration! I would definitely buy it again!

Love it, perfect for 10-20gallon tank. The fish love to swim through it. It looks so natural too.

Fits the Marineland Portrait 5 gallon perfectly. A good center piece to start your design. Very well packaged. Clean. It has a small hole on top, so I put a slow bubble coming out.

It was smaller than I thought and part of it was broken off in shipping. I still used it in my tank and the fish like to hide behind it

It looks great on day one, but by day 30 it appears to be a brownish / white on all surfaces that were under water.

Out of the 2 SLOCME Pieces I ordered, this was my favorite. Well it’s not quite as big as I had originally hoped (was going to make it my centerpiece thinking it was bigger). It’s still big enough and shaped perfectly enough to be a corner piece in my small tank that I can hide my sponge filter and heater behind. It also looks very nice and blends in well with some real plants put around it. So I would definitely recommend this piece, at least for small tanks.

EDIT 3 WEEKS LATER- The " bark" of the tree is rubbing off in several places & when I took it out of my tank it had a very strong chemical rotten egg type smell. Let it dry, no smell.. once its wet the smell is back.. Not putting this back in my tank. Returning .1st one arrived broken & I was sent a replacement in 3 days. This one made it thru the postal system. Looks great in my tank and also looks like it could be real. Very happy with $ I spent for this tank decoration.

The item appeared to be packaged nicely, but was broken in two places (i.e., they shoved it into the box and broke it, as it was padded and fit snuggly in the package). I glued it back together w/ aquarium safe glue. I rinsed the ornament thoroughly and soaked in hot water for a few hours w/ no bad smell, so I put it in the aquarium. About 2 days after I placed it in my tank I removed my 8gal tank lid to do a partial water change and there was a terrible chemical smell. This was the only new decoration, so I removed it and sure enough it absolutely reeked. It seems to be that the smell comes from the inside/unpainted surface of the ornament. I am going to try and boil the ornament and soak it in bleach/dechlorinate it and see if it makes a difference. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. I did a 25% water change and will do another tomorrow in the hopes that there is no lasting damage to my betta. I really like how this ornament looks as I have a tall cube tank and finding "natural" looking ornaments that fit my tank is hard to do. I shouldn't have to spend a week babying a new $25 ornament in order to make sure it is safe for my aquarium.
