**Q: barrel size?**
A: There are several options, you have to select the size you want.  If you scroll over an option, it may pop up a description with a size or just click on each one.

**Q: worldwide travel ?**
A: It's 110 volt setting works great in the USA. Butmost of the world uses 220 volts and that would fry this curler without a voltage adapter. No it does not have one on the plug built in.

**Q: is this one ionic?  I was told at the salon to get the ionic curling iron but having trouble telling which ones are**
A: Yes. I believe it is.

**Q: What size curling iron should I get**
A: Sunflower has the right advice, my only comment is IF your hair is short use the 3/4 inch for tight curls and the 1 inch for softer curls.  Also if you leave the curling iron in your hair up to 30 seconds you will get a longer lasting curl but use a heat protector product on your hair.
