So if the dosage on the box states .18 ml for my size dog, do i use the .8 ml on the syringe?

Thank you for your question. When you purchased the product it should come with a box insert. The box insert has a diagram that shows where the 0.18 mark is on the syringe. The 0.18 mark is the line under the 0.2 mark. Please do not give your dog 0.8, that is too much and could be harmful.

If I use the brush to apply it, then put the brush back in the bottle, isn't that contaminating the bottle?

I'm not sure what you mean by brush? Tumoxil does come with a dropper lid, if you are going to put the dropper in the animal's mouth, you will need to wash and rinse the dropper before putting it back inside the bottle.
