The large is a little long and a little baggy on her (it comes to just above her knee...not nearly as short as the photo). I'm planning on hemming it up a bit, but you could just cinch it up and hold with the belt, I'd bet. The belt fits fine; the boot/shoe covers fit just perfectly over her size 2 ballet flat (might not fit on a larger size), but the height is too tall (it goes above her knees). That actually works out for me -- I'm hemming them down and putting in elastic so they'll stay up and not slide down. The crown, however, is too small, so it's getting a longer elastic band. The cuffs are a little large, but fit over her hands nicely. She loved the positive & strong image of the costume in the picture (with no coaching from mom, really).*Delivered on the earliest day promised.*Was in new condition & in clean packaging.*The boot covers stayed up and covered the boots just fine over rain boots.*Cape attaches securely by velcro to the back of the costume instead of around the neck--great safety feature.*The costume looked great and still fit well with a red turtleneck (from Target) worn underneath for warmth outside.*It was easy to add reflective tape touches (for safety) that blended with the costume.*The instructions say spot clean, but I handwashed the top/skirt & it turned out fine.
