This stuff doesn't smell "clean" does it? I mean like some crappy cologne smell. I want a something that is unscented or very low scent.

This isn't Axe. I've been using it for so long I probably couldn't detect its scent if it has one. It is lightly scented, if at all. I sing with a group that doesn't permit cologne and no one has ever complained.

I am trying to avoid all Gillette products does this qualify?

I’m not sure why the avoidance and where I sit I can’t answer that. However, I absolutely love this product and use it daily. I will continue to use this product. It gets the job done and it gets 5 stars in my book.

Is this a non-foaming gel?

It's a gel when it squirts out in your hand. When you apply it to your face it somewhat foams. So, I don't know how to classify it--foaming or non-foaming. I will say that Edge is the best shaving cream I've found and I've been using it for probably 30 years or more. On your face it maintains it's body and facilitates a smoother shave than that of any other shaving cream I've used.
