This worked great for our vacation! Very very easily to blow up with the included pump. I have also found that the pump works for other things too so its a really awesome deal for this. We've used the pump to blow up our swimming pool for our daughter. Super quick and easy. But the travel bed is definitely worth purchasing. Its very thick, durable and well made. Good quality so we had no worries about popping it and help up to my daughter's weight as well as her older cousin. The side "rails" are perfect. They kept my daughter from rolling out of the bed at night but once she woke up in the morning, it was very easy for her to climb out. It compacts in the box really well so doesn't take up much space in storage and not much space when transporting it. Overall, this is definitely worth purchasing. Not just great for travel but great for family to have on hand in case your kiddo spends the night at a grandparent's home or a friends house. I would definitely recommend this product in a heartbeat!

We have tried different products to solve the sleeping arrangement of our kids (23 month old and 8 month old). The first was the Babybjorn travel crib. It was good for road trip for a while (before the kids are mobile), but not really practical for air travel. Then, it was the Kidco Peapod. It worked great. When we wanted to buy another one for our younger daughter lately, it was on a recall. We still use it as a tent for play at home. Due to the recall, we had to find another solution because our kids like to roll around while sleeping and we were afraid that they would fall off the bed in the hotel. We researched on the Aerobed for kids and this Shrunks Tuckaire Toddler Inflatable Travel Bed. They are comparable but the Aerobed seems to be heavier. Weight is a concern when travel by air since the airlines now have stricter restrictions on check-in luggages. Therefore, we chose the Shrunks Tuckaire Toddler Inflatable Travel Bed. We bought two. The pump can inflate and deflate the bed. It is a lot easier than using a hand pump or squeezing the air out like other products. We use the regular crib sheets on them. The bed comes with a bag that can hold the bed, the pump, and the sheets. We put the beds side by side on the hotel floor. As for the raised guard of the bed, we don't think it is very effective. The kids still roll off the beds while they sleep but it is from a lower height. We are not too concerned about that. The kids slept normally just like when they are at home. As of now, the beds seem to hold the air okay. We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and the bed stayed firm throughout the stay.

We purchased this bed for a recent trip to Mexico since we were not sure what kind of "crib" was offered at the resort. Our 21 month old recently transitioned to a toddler bed so we decided to give this a try. I could not be happier with how well this bed worked out for us! My daughter loved it and thought she was the most special thing in the world, and I knew she was safe! Using the included pump we easily blew it up and didn't need to refill/add more air for the entire 8 day trip! The bed packed away easily in our checked luggage. No need to take along the pack-n-play like our friends did. Now that I know our daughter is comfortable and safe in it we can't wait to use it on overnights with family and friends. I won't hesitate to take this anywhere we go that we might end up for overnight. The "stuff sack" is easily big enough to hold the pump, sheet(s), a couple of blankets. Only thing that won't fit is a standard size pillow. The pump is electic so it won't work well if you are using it to camp with, but I'm sure a foot pump with the correct size nozzle on it would work just as well. I would recommend this bed to anyone that travels or plans on traveling and wants to know for sure where their kiddo is sleeping when they get there.

This "blow up bed" as my daughter calls it, is average quality. I compare it to one we already owned from One Step Ahead. This one gets the job done, however, the material is thinner than the one from One Step Ahead. The mattress also is not as thick when fully inflated. Another con is that the inner mattress doesn't detach from the outer border. This poses a slight inconvenience if liquid gets spilled on the bed (or your child has an accident at night) as it is hard to clean. The pros are that the mattress fits a standard size crib sheet. It is affordable and it comes with its own pump which makes inflating and deflating simple and quick. Overall, I would recommend this product. My children love it and it is easy to pack for a trip as it doesn't take up much room at all.

Super cool little bed. Took it with us to an out of state concert the first time for pur 6 year old, and she was stoked and had a really good time with it. I also took it to the hospital when my wife had to have emergency service and it held me at 210 lbs and my 60 lb daughter. Didn't have any other options for both of us to stay overnight and it worked like a charm. The remote changeable lights are a great touch and make it fun for my little one. Practical and functional for adults as well.

When my 18 month old granddaughter visited for Christmas she had outgrown her Pack 'n Play Playard, but wasn't big enough for a regular twin bed. We needed a safe and comfortable bed for her that she would like well enough to stay put in. When I saw the great reviews for this bed on Amazon, we ordered it early so we could test it for ourselves before she, and her parents, arrived. We were pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality of this bed and how easily it inflates with the powerful electric pump that's included. We set it up two weeks before they came to see if it would lose any air. It didn't! By the time she arrived it was still completely inflated. And we were thrilled that the Carter's "Keep Me Dry Waterproof Fitted Crib Pad" we ordered with it fit on it perfectly, as well as the Carters "Easy Fit Jersey Crib Sheet" over that. And we were able to tuck in a child sized blanket we'd bought her, too. She jumped into her bed as soon as she saw it, took her naps there and slept in it every night without a hitch. It was a huge hit with her and her parents! And, best of all, when they left all of the items easily, yet snugly, fit into the cylinder duffel bag that comes with it. So they were able to take the Shrunks Tuckaire Toddler bed, and all the accessories, with them for the next time they travel with her. What a great solution for the traveling toddler. And it turned out to be a great gift for her parents, too.

Let me start by saying that we own the Shrunks and I love it! We have also owned the Intex version. I have seen a lot of reviews asking about the difference between the Intex bed (which can be purchased at Walmart) and this one. Hope this review helps (I had similar questions) I purchased the Intex from Walmart first, because it was cheaper and I wasn't sold on the idea of paying nearly $60 for an inflatable bed for my 2-year-old. But the Intex bed is huge. A small adult could sleep in it. It does not fit well into small spaces (like in grandma's guest room between the bed and the wall). And an electric pump is a must, unless you want to spend 30 minutes pumping up your bed, which we did with the Intex. The Shrunks bed is smaller by about 10 inches across and it's longer (head to toe) and still roomy enough for a child. The Shrunks bed has an electric pump and it does really inflate in <1 minute (though the side rails inflate separately, so you can put a sheet on the mattress before inflating). It also has a deflate option which works well (as long as you use the nozzle tips that come with the pump). I had serious doubts that we would be able to deflate that bed and fold it back up small enough to get into the tiny storage bag provided, but we did and I was thrilled (see attached photo). This bed is great. I would advise letting it air out in an empty room or outside for a few days when you first purchase it to reduce the smell. Also, if you decide to try the Intex bed, it is not returnable to Walmart, so if-as with us - you decide it won't work, you're stuck with it.

Our family travels at least one weekend per month and two vacations per year. Our child has always struggled to sleep soundly away from her bed at home. The pack-and-play that we have used since she was born has served its purpose for naps and nighttime but is not a good solution for more than one night away from home. 90% of the time, she would wake up and want to sleep in our bed because it was uncomfortable. We tried new sheets, new mattress, and even purchased a twin size egg crate foam mattress pad and cut it to size. Nothing worked. We recently switched her from a crib to a toddler bed and potty trained within a month, (what were we thinking??) and needed something that we could take on the road when we visit family, go on vacation, or have company ourselves. The Shrunks Sleepover Kid's Travel Bed was an excellent purchase! One might argue that you could get away with just purchasing a twin sized air mattress for less than half the price, but you get what you pay for! This mattress comes with a small electric air pump with a deflation feature. Set up is a breeze, and takes less than 5 minutes from taking it out of the travel bag (included) to putting on bed sheets (not included). The directions are very simple as it says directly on the mattress which part to inflate first. The two parts that are to be inflated are the mattress itself and the outside bumpers (great for a child that is sleeping in a bed with railings at home). Disassembly is tough for any air mattress, but it seems to be a little tougher with this unit. You must inflate both parts and do your best to get any remaining air out of the mattress before you put it back in the travel bag. The bag itself needs to be a little larger with a separate area for your pump so you don't forget it. Quality: 5 Stars!! It is very well made! Our daughter sleeps better on this airbed than she does her own bed at home. Price: 3 Stars It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. Design: 4 Stars It is easy to get out of for a toddler, and still secure so they won't fall out. The travel bag needs to be larger and have a separate pocket for the supplied pump.

Wir haben für unsere 2jährige Tochter ein Reisebett gesucht, da sie mittlerweile zu gross für ein normales Baby-Reisebett ist. Mit dieser Matratze haben wir die perfekte Lösung gefunden! Sie ist extrem schnell aufgeblasen und noch dazu sehr bequem. Unsere Kleine hat sich auf Anhieb wohl gefühlt und sogar gleich die ganze Nacht durchgeschlafen. Natürlich macht sie durch die Oberfläche andere Geräusche als ein Bett, aber da man die Luftmatratze ganz normal mit einem Molleton und einem Spannlaken beziehen kann, macht das überhaupt nichts aus. Durch die Ränder an den Seiten fällt unsere Tochter auch nicht gleich auf den Boden (bzw. rollt nicht gleich von der Matratze). Wir bereuen diese Anschaffung kein bisschen und sind uns sicher, sie noch ein paar Jahre benutzen zu können, da sie ja eigentlich für schon grössere Kinder gedacht ist.

Super Teil. Mittlerweile wird sich darum gestritten, wer darauf schlafen darf. Dabei war Sie nur für einen Ausflug gedacht. Sogar das 8 jährige Kind schläft prima darin und hat ausreichend Platz. Dieser "Rausfallschutz" ist einfach weltklasse. Die mitgelieferte elektrische Pumpe einfach super. Geht ratz fatz. Sehr empfehlenswert und das Geld wert!
