Bionaire BT014-U Personal Space Mini Tower Fan

Space and looks were very important to me when shopping for a fan for my kitchen counter top and I'm very happy with this compact little fan. It's small footprint takes up little space and looks great next to my stainless steel countertop appliances. Many of the small fans I looked at had the controls inconveniently located in the back but this fan has easy to reach controls right there in the front on the top. It has two speeds and can oscillate if you choose. Before I purchased I was concerned about some comments I read about the noise level on the higher speed and the lack of air output due to the closed design. I always run the higher speed and the noise level isn't overly loud to me at all. Every tabletop fan I've ever had has been even louder. Also, for my purposes, the amount of air output is just fine, and I can feel a slight breeze 4 or 5 feet away. I paid more for this unit due to it's looks and size but I'm totally happy with it and I'm thinking about buying a second one for my bedside table.

Absolutely love this fan! A colleague recommended it. I use it at work in my cubicle, and not only does it provide much needed cooling and ample fanning, but it's quiet enough that my cubicle neighbor cannot hear it. I'm now buying one for my mom because of it's compact, and its easy-to-use design (Love the simple, good sized, easy to press buttons on top ... easier for my mom to use by her bedside, and her eyesight isn't the greatest).

Can't live without my desk top fans! Do not have to turn on air conditioning, saves me a lot of money.

I recently bought two desk fans. The first was the 'Bionaire BT014-U Personal Space Mini Tower Fan'. I went with it originally because it had better reviews than the Lasko 4000 Air Stik. They were equally priced so I thought I would give it a try. It was small but bulky and was a bit too big width wise to fit on my desk at work. I took it home to use as an extra fan. It's a bit loud but it serves its purpose. It has two speeds and an oscilate feature. Speed '1' is a little loud but manageable. Speed '2' is just too loud to do anything else. Still needing a desk fan for work, I opted to buy the Lasko Air Stik and I have to say I am glad that I did. It's thin, it's quiet and its got a great look to it. For the price, I don't think there is a better desk fan on the market. I highly recommend it. As for the Bionaire, it's a nice fan but not nearly as nice as the Lasko.

It’s ok. Doesn’t really circulate air as advertised and is kinda noisy.

With the wildfires we have every year this little unit keeps my bedrooms smoke free and healthy. I also turn it up so it creates a white noise I need for sleeping

This fan was exactly what I was looking for. I had been using one exactly like it, that I borrowed from my brother. I didn't buy it as much for air circulation as I did for the white noise that it makes. I sleep during the day and it pretty well blocks outside noise.

Small, easily moveable circulating fan which does a great job in keeping an average sized room cool.

El tamaño es excelente para un escritorio, ventila un espacio muy pequeño. Y es silencioso. Se ven bien los materiales.

Es pequeño pero sí ventila mi habitación, no hace mucho ruido pero si se nota que está prendido, truena un poco el mecanismo de rotación pero funciona bien. Me gustó mucho que trae fusible en la clavija y es oscilante. cabe mencionar que no cuenta con control remoto.
