It's cheaper than other models and it fits my elongated toilet.
It took my husband just minutes to install. It's white and fits my elongated, white toilet. It looks nice and seems sturdy. It feels like a basic, traditional toilet seat: not uncomfortable and not extra comfortable. I ordered it at 10pm and got it by 1pm the next day. (It was brand new, sometimes people complain about getting used ones.) FYI: It will clank when you open it and close VERY FAST when you lower it. UPDATE: I've used it for 6 months with NO problems. I chose it because: - Amazon could deliver it in a day (our toilet seat broke last night and I wasn't sure if I could get to the store). I'm east of Seattle, so I'm near the distribution center, which makes fast turnarounds/deliveries easier. - It had good reviews (people said it was solid and easy to install). - It was INEXPENSIVE: $19, plus tax. It was too cheap to qualify for FREE, next-day shipping, so to get it this the next day, I needed to either pay $2.99 for shipping OR add more to my order to make the $25 minimum. (I bought a little bit more). Comments: 1) I would have been willing to pay a LOT more for a fancier toilet seat that has a slow-closing lid, is extra comfortable, has a finish that can take ANY cleaner--AND IS DURABLE enough to last >5 years, but I couldn't find one. 2) Reviews of other toilet seats indicate that the toilet seats made today don't last. The seat might crack within a few months. The hinges break (especially on slow-closing ones). I bought this seat to replace a slow-closing one whose hinge broke in less than a year. I would have expected a toilet seat to last 10 years (or more), but I think these slow-close hinges get brittle. I'm hoping this new seat lasts several years--but I decided to get a CHEAP, but sturdy seat, so I that I'm not out a lot of money if it doesn't last. 3) Nowadays most hinges are designed to be "removable for easy cleaning." However, in reviews of some other removable seats a few people complained that the toilet seat slid off the hinge while the user was sitting on it. Although this model has that removable feature, I'm hoping that if I don't take it off, perhaps it might make it less likely to pop off unexpectedly. (I've used it for 6 months and the hinge hasn't caused problems--but I've never removed it. I just clean around it.) 4) Painted toilet seats used to be easy to clean, but the last several I've gotten (both Kohler and Bemis) CANNOT handle a strong cleaner. Even using Formula 409 just ONCE can harm the finish (this didn't used to happen 20 years ago). For this one, I've used a mild soap to clean it (so far okay). To disinfect, I've sometimes sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide (which kills salmonella, e.coli and SARS-CoV-2--and is a gentle disinfectant) or I've used Citrus II (a very good disinfectant that is effective against norovirus, etc). I usually wipe it off after a few minutes, so far, the peroxide or Citrus II doesn't seem to harm the finish, but I don't use them often. However, I think that urine can also harm the finish if it isn't cleaned off soon. 5) I thought of getting a plastic seat (instead of a heavy wooden one) as it might be easier to disinfect and more stain resistant, but the reviews on those were mixed. Some of those plastic seats were flimsy. In another model (an expensive one), users complained that after a few months that plastic toilet seat started to have a strong chemical smell. Just an fyi, I was reading an article that mentioned that toilet seats are shaped to encourage people to "do their business." Sitting on them for a long time when you don't need to have a bowel movement can be counterproductive and bad for your regularity. So, if you do have an extra comfortable seat, just be aware that you shouldn't hang out on it. If you're reading a novel, perhaps you should sit on the couch instead.

COMFY & STURDY
I've been using this toilet seat for a while now and it has exceeded my expectations. First off, itโs very comfortable, which makes a huge difference. Second, it is incredibly sturdy. The materials feel heavy-duty, and the mounting hardware keeps it firmly in place without any annoying wobbling. It's also super easy to clean. If you are looking for a reliable, rock-solid seat, this is the one to get!

Perfect!
We needed a comfortable, budget friendly seat. That's it. No frills, no waiting for 10 min for the lid to close. Wood is far more comfortable, frankly. We end up replacing the seat in our main bathroom almost once a year, not because we use heavy chemicals on it or otherwise abuse them, but the enamel never wants to survive long. It always stains in really, erm, questionable places. Like...how? But I digress. Maybe its because our German Shepherds insist that the toilet water is the finest nectar available to drink, despite having a large watering station that provides fresh clean water available 24/7. Maybe because often the seat is down so the divine water of the toilet is often not easily available to the pooches, making it a fun game to try and get to it, thus damaging the seat with their antics. Who knows. Regardless, in one year and every brand of toilet seat we have tried starts to look funky. Some have cheap plastic bumpers that break or crumble, or the hinges erode (that's always fun to clean), or the bolts loosen and it becomes a little wobbling seat. How fun. If nothing more catastrophic happens, then inevitably the enamel starts wearing. I tried painting one to fix that once - won't try that again. So, I am coming to accept that toilet seats are simply an annual purchase, like it or not. This is the 2nd Bemis we have gotten however. We also got the plastic model (by accident) but its not too bad. Will be fine for our lower traffic bathroom. This wood seat is comfortably shaped, fit perfectly, and was very convenient to switch out. Ingenious even. I love the easy clean feature - all toilet seats should come with that automatically. If someone in your family is a lid dropper, then this one will be loud, but otherwise, one can close it gently and avoid the noise. It closes straight, the hinges are snug, no wobble when you sit. So, for the price, its perfect. Far better than expected. As to its durability, that remains to be seen, but if it survives for over a year, then that's a win as far as this household is concerned.

Nice quality
I had a plastic seat on one of my toilets that was poor quality. My toddler grands spent quite a bit of time squirming on these and they broke easily. So I started my search for a decent quality seat. After some hit and miss searching I found this brand which is a laminated wood. They are not soft close but are heavy duty and look decent on an elongated toilet. It came with no instructions and when I looked for Youtube videos I watched the wrong one which made it very difficult to get on. In the wrong video you have to use a wrench to twist off the top of the nut or else you canโt lift up to seat top. After battling with this thing I finally watched another video and realized I was doing it completely wrong. All you have to do it put the big screw and nut on and the seat goes over it and you can twist on a cover. Extremely easy. Probably the easiest I ever use. I took off a star because there were no instructions and I had never seen a seat that attached like this one so some instructions would have been extremely helpful. In the future if I need another one it will be simple to replace and with this design you can also lift the seat to clean really well. Iโm not a big person but I imagine these would work well for men/women of all weights. This seat had a 4.5 star rating and was only $21.06 which was priced really well for a seat that is probably a bit heavier. This would probably work well with a portable bidet.

Doesnโt have a auto closer but is good
I replaced a small plastic cover that was very thin. The opening was so small it was hard to get my hand down to dry and clean myself. This seat is great. The opening is larger. The construction is wood, so more solidโI can sit on it!! The color is not a bright white but a creamy white.

Solid wood with smooth White finish.
I had a White wood toilet seat that I purchaed from Wal-Mart about 8 yrars ago. Over that time, the seat showed rust stain in the screws and the wood would chip in small side areas. I almost bought the cheaper Plastic seat but read that they look and feels cheap. They can crack if your over 250 pounds. I only weight 172 lbs. So I went with a wooded seat from Bemis. I like the quick release function, so that you can remove the entire seat to get a detailed cleaning. Do your weekly cleaning and it will look new for a long time. Don't use harsh chemicals on the seat, just warm water and light soap. The wood design and shape looks great. Its a heavy seat. The White finish is nice and smooth. Very easy to clean. Installing the seat only took about 5 minutes. Its that simple. The quality of this seat surpass the Wal-Mart brand.

Terrible Toilet Seat. Won't tighten but can't remove
POOR FUNCTIONALITY. I hate this toilet seat. Someone took something simple and made it difficult. I have a round Kohler toilet. I bought a round toilet seat. The toilet seat does not fit my Kohler toilet well, even though it SHOULD fit according to high school math. The seat is slightly too large. The size issue is minor, and I can let that go. The big issue is the bolts/nuts and locks that someone redesigned for this seat. This person who redesigned the toilet seat fasteners on this product needs to return to engineering school. First, the plastic 'nuts' have a lip on them that hits the side of my Kohler toilet and prevents me from tightening the seat 100%. It doesn't say that this seat won't tighten on certain brands or styles of toilets. But guess what, it's incompatible with mine. It can't tighten all the way due to the design. Instead of the seat having a screw on/screw off fasteners, some genius has put locks on the plastic top pieces. Well, the seat is loose again as I can't tighten it 100% due to the bolt lip and my toilet style. And thanks to the stupid plastic locks that won't disengage, I can't remove or seat either. So unless I saw off the bolts/fastners or buy a new toilet, I'm stuck with a loose, wobbly seat. The whole point of replacing the seat was to get one that fits well. I'm so frustrated with this stupid toilet seat. I've replaced other toilet seats in the past, and it gas never been a difficult job. Due to the placement of my toilet, the seat hinges give out more often. You have to sit on the toilet to wash the dog or rinse anything in the tub. It wears out the hinges after a few years. I have never disliked a design change more than this seat design change. When I get back from my trip, I guess I'm using the saws--all to get the stupid plastic bolts off so I can throw this seat in the trash heap where it belongs. The plastic locks won't unlock. With the locks on, I can unscrew the bolts. But since the plastic lip hits the side of the toilet, I also can't tighten the toilet seat. I hope the dog sitter likes a movable seat, because this seat moves around. Once I saw off the bolts and toss this seat, I'll go to Home Depot or Lowe's and buy a seat that I can inspect first. I want one without a plastic lip on the bolt and one without the idiotic locks. And I'm not returning the seat because I used it. I do not return used toilet items. But I do NOT recommend this toilet seat to anyone except maybe as a gift to your enemies. It just has too many design flaws.

Great seat, great value. NO BLEACH
Great toilet seat. Feels supportive not like you are going to fall in the toilet. Stay tight. Do not clean with bleach products or it makes pee colored stains on the paint. Other than that awesome value.

Hygienic, well made, and easily detachable Toilet Seat
This product is comfortable to use, and well made. It is very easy to install with modern plastic fittings, that also enable a push on and prise off ability when it is required to remove and re-fix the seat for cleaning.

Perfect! Spent ages searching for a seat that would fit our Kohler toilet and this is perfect, so easy to fit, really good quality and at a sensible price - so many elongated seats were 3 times more expensive. Fast delivery too

Ok
This is a good toilet seat only problem is that it doesnโt fit my toilet!!! I had to move one of the fitting across a bit as it was about a inch to small for the holes..which is a pain in the bum.. it has been very hard finding a toilet seat for my toilet as itโs elongated and to try and find a nice one and one that fits has been a nightmare and having to move these fitting was the only way that I would get it to fit.. so apart from that itโs ok
