Clas Ohlson Wireless Bluetooth Ear Defenders (Noise Cancelling + FM & DAB+ Radio) Rechargeable Headphones

As mentioned in other reviews the build quality of these defenders is very good, they are fairly light and are a good fit for me.The sound quality is good and the volume is more than adequate for me. I get good DAB reception and the Bluetooth function is great especially useful when paired with your phone.I use garden machinery all day and although the noise isn't totally cancelled the radio can be heard clearly above machinery with noise rating of 100dB.Excellent value ear defenders and received next day.

I like that these can be used as wireless headphones as well as ear defenders. They are great for listening to music when strimming or grass cutting and are very effective at reducing the external noise. I use a diesel ride on lawn mower and although don’t totally cancel the noise, they are very good and the noise is greatly reduced - the diesel mower is very loud at close range.I also like the ability to pair to other devices via Bluetooth and use as wireless headphones. The volume of the radio does not turn up to a very high volume but is adequate. I have another set of wireless headphones but they are limited to pairing via Bluetooth without a radio DAB/FM option. These headphones are also extremely easy to setup and use.

Bought this for the DAB reception as the FM reception in the valleys is poor. The sound quality is excellent and the signal never varies unlike FM which is subject to atmospheric conditions. I use these in the garden when using noisy tools but mainly just for listening to the radio. The Bluetooth is useful for wireless connection to music on my phone. The volume is more than adequate, even with my poor hearing. These are far more sophisticated, and cheaper than the FM only make I have used previously. For those who have not used DAB this is a revelation in sound and information with a display and functions equal to hi-fi.

I am a bit of a speech radio addict and spend a lot of time working in the garden, often using machinery. I have been using noise cancelling headphones and phone for listening, but that is fiddly. These headphones are excellent as am alternative; sound quality surprisingly good, very clear instructions, easy set-up. Where they fall down is as ear defenders; they are pretty poor in that respect. Also they are not (active) noise cancelling, which the blurb might suggest, but noise insulating. To be fair the Db rating is declared in the blurb and it is low compared with other makes. At the price a worthwhile buy, but why can't they acheive the same Db rating as my simple £15 ear defenders?Stay safe.

Overall the product is very good, easy to tune in FM stations and pair with mobile phone using Bluetooth, this can be used to receive phone calls using the built in mic without the need to remove the ear defenders and listen to any streamed music provider through the phone. Built in volume controller enables adjustment on the Ear Defenders. DAB Radio is also available. I did mark the comfort down by one star this is due to the weight compared to standard NC head phones that I have however I know these are extremely well designed, well finished, with high quality materials used and built to take the wear and tear of any industrial environment.

Perfect dab radio head phones. Only one small point; the maximum sound Could be louder. Fantastic on keeping the outside noise out while doing outdoor work so you can listen to your favourite sounds or Test Match Special in the summer months!

FM and DAB radios are good. Bluetooth is a bit hit 'n' miss, mostly connecting quickly, but sometimes just refusing to connect forcing me to unpair and re-pair my phone.The volume is not loud enough and/or the noise reduction not sufficient enough to allow me to hear audio books whilst sanding. It's OK for lawn mowing, but not for any louder activities.Sadly, I will be looking out for a better performing product.

Great quality, withstanding the brutal beatings of daily life on a building site, I can wear them for 8 hours most days without a problem, very comfortable, great sound, great value for money.
