Generous Customer Service, Interesting Product Changes
I got my Care 1's three years ago in Sept 2019 and have thoroughly loved them - great price, sound, comfortability, battery life and the folding feature with carry bag was perfect for my use regularly putting them in a backpack. Used them most days. About 1.5 years in, the smooth rubbery padding along the headband part came loose. Wrapped black electrical tape aroud that which was the perfect fix - you can barely tell, hasn't came up or peeled off. Shortly after I dropped them which snapped the plastic holding the earpiece in and broke the buttons. Managed to fix the buttons by taking it apart - the rocker was just dislodged - and the plastic was fixed by black electrical tape again! I wear glasses and finally this month (Nov 2022) the padding ripped where the end of my glasses poked into the inside seam of the padding ring. I emailed customer service asking if they'd sell me replacement pads but on confirming my order number they sent me a completely new pair of Care 1's free of charge, saying they don't sell replacement pads! Extremely generous and I'm very thankful. This is well beyond their warranty and hopefully is a sign you won't have any problems if you ever need to deal with their customer support. YOU WILL WANT TO NOTE: The new model they sent me is different to the old model I got three years ago (different button placements, more oval ear shape, different audio cues for powering on/off etc). Of particular importance: although still enjoyable and for most people it'll be perfectly acceptable, the sound quality is worse in the new model with ability to hit sub bass notes suffering the most, and also the sound is just a slight off, the best way I can describe it is it very slightly sounds like when you have squeezed your nose and blown so your ears pop and they haven't popped back again (a tiny bit). It's not a massive downgrade at all, I'm particularly into bassy music and did notice fairly quickly, but I still had to compare them side by side a few times (connected to same phone playing same music) to fully pick out the differences. I'd still be happy with them if I paid the full price for them and it's up to you to decide what you buy. ----- But you should know older reviews may be reviewing a completely different set of headphones with (I think possibly) different speaker drivers as well as cosmetic differences! ----- For reference, the old set has the buttons not on the edge but as a rocker on the flat of the right ear (you tap the flat bit at the front, bottom or back) and the eq is not a button but integrated into the on/off slider.

Great looking headphones that fit well on a small head
I've had or tried a few pairs of headphones now, and have either found them uncomfortable, too big on my apparent small head, too tight and give me headaches, or just not good sound wise. These fit my head perfectly and are comfortable on the ears. The cups fit right over my ears so there's no pressure on the ears themselves and the cushioning is great around the ear lobes. I do find the top of the headphones quite hard on my head though, despite there being some cushioning, so I personally wouldn't be able to wear them for long periods, but I don't intend to as I suffer with headaches/migraines so have to be careful how long I use them for anyway. I find the sound of them pretty good, but I'm no expert on this. I would say that the Soundcore Q30 and Sennheiser HD450T headphones I previously tried were probably better sound wise, but the Soundcores were too big for my head and the Sennheiser were too tight. I've tried the 3 different sound modes and can't say that I noticed much difference between the EQ and extra bass modes but I do notice a difference in the vocal mode (less base). I haven't had them long enough to comment on battery life at the moment. When I got them they had around 85% battery and they're currently on 70% and I've used them about 4 times listening for about half an hour each time, so they seem like they should last a good while before needing to be recharged. I do really love the look of these headphones. They look really trendy. I got the grey and beige ones and the grey is like a 'gun metal' dark grey as described with some cars, coupled with the beige underneath they look a bit more interesting than standard black headphones. All in all I'm currently pleased with them. I didn't need anything super amazing as I can't use them for long and don't want Nikki Minaj Superbass to them, due to suffering with frequent headaches/migraines, so they do the trick for me.

Initial impressions are good, but with one important reservation.
Initial impression is that these headphones are pretty good quality, sound very good and are very comfortable to wear. No comment can be made on reliability over the longer term as only just purchased. However, the instructions make no reference to changing the rechargeable battery when it comes to the end of its life. I have emailed Doqaus and eventually, after 3 emails, got a reply of sorts-they state the battery, "can be used for 3 years". They go on to say if the battery fails in this time they would replace it but don't say if this would be a free replacement and give no guidance on how to dismantle the headphones in order to do this. I think my conclusion is that the battery is not really intended to be replaced and once it fails the headphones have come to the end of their life........seems like built-in obsolescence and this does not impress me. If the battery were intended to be replaced, surely instructions would be totally clear about this. For this reason I would only give the headphones a 3 star rating . UPDATE TO MY INITIAL REVIEW: I have had further contact from Doqaus who advise that it is their belief that most bluetooth headphones have batteries which are not replaceable by the customer.....this may well be true. They seem genuinely concerned that I am not completely happy and have extended my warranty to two years. I get a very strong impression that they are making great efforts to provide excellent customer care and I must say I am very impressed with the sound quality of the headphones.........outstanding for the price : indeed, outstanding for a much higher price, I would suggest. I have now increased the star rating to 4 stars and it would definitely be 5 stars if the design were such that the batteries could be changed by the customer in, say, 4 or 5 years time if necessary. It seems sad that so many products we buy are destined for landfill when improved design to give them a much longer life. I would conclude by saying, however, that the customer support and communication from Doqaus has been 5 star.

Brilliant and I highly reccomend them.
These headphones are the best I have ever owned and believe me, at 61 years of age, that's a lot of headphones. I only ever listen to YouTube videos playing while I sleep at night and the odd occasion when my other headphones need charging. I find that when I watch YouTube music HD videos, the sound quality is amazing. I bought them back on 5th November 2024 and a few days ago one of the ear pads has come off and the other is starting to go but you can expect that if you're moving about in your sleep a lot and with the summer heat and sweating, you have to expect that. Not sure if I should buy the replacement ear pads at £22.80 or just buy the headphones again. Good value for money, easy to use and light weight, colour black and cream. The fit and ear support is excellent. I have to rechargeabout once aweek after I use them..

Fantastic sound quality, really comfortable. Recommended
I took a while deciding on a pair of headphones to buy, often considering some much higher priced pairs, before deciding to try these and I have to say I highly recommend them. Sound quality - The headphones have three sound settings. Equalisation mode which is equal bass and treble. Bass mode which is obviously extra bass and then clear voice which almost completely removes any bass. On all settings the sound quality is fantastic and crystal clear even on high volume. Comfortability - Since the headphones arrived I have worn them for long periods on multiple occasions, including a ten hour stint, and find them to be very comfortable. Ear cups are very soft so only lightly presses against your head. On headphones I always have the adjustable headband set to a notch or two looser then one may naturally put them to at first, to ensure they stay comfortable. Even with the armband being set this way there is no feeling of the headphones about to slip off. Build Quality - Very well built and do not feel cheap or plastically in any way. Very impressed. Features - The headphones have a microphone and four discreet buttons on the right ear which are used to answer/make calls when connected to a phone, play and pause for music and volume up and down. I have used them on a few audio and video calls with the receivers of the calls saying they can hear me perfectly. My only criticism is that the 3.5mm jack cable that was supplied does feel a little loose when inserted into the headphone. I don’t think it would come out but it doesn’t feel like it slots in like it should. Not really an issue for me as I only intend to use them as Bluetooth. In conclusion I am very impressed. If I was given the headphones without knowledge of the cost I would pitch these at a much higher price (£36.99 when I purchased). I know they are not noise cancelling and this leans towards a lower price, however I find they do a decent job of blocking noise anyway. The sound quality is great and they feel very well built. The luxury feel with a reasonable price only increases Doqaus' reputation for me, fair play to them.

A Good Buy!
I love these headphones. They are gorgeous and easy to use. The battery life is great for me as I’m able to use them for many hours. I rarely have to charge them more then once every 2 days, and I use them a lot. The noise cancellation is impressive too. I have no other headphones to compare the noise cancellation feature to, however, I do find the snug fit drowns out/dampens outside noise very well when not playing any sound. You can still hear outside noises, but they are significantly lower in volume with these on. I find these headphones very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. On occasion I forget that I’m even wearing them. I live in a 1 bedroom flat and can easily listen to audio on a device left on the other side of my home while I potter about cleaning or something. The range of the Bluetooth is really good. I like that there is also a wired option for when the battery dies. One of the aspects of buying these that I find great is the 18 month warranty I got with the headphones. It has been useful, as I had an issue with pairing to a device I used regularly, after a year or so. The headphones continued to pair with my other devices just fine, it just stopped pairing to this 1 device. This device also had no trouble pairing with other Bluetooth audio equipment. Even resetting the headphones numerous times didn’t fix the issue. It was odd and there was nothing I could do. I contacted the customer services for this brand and they were very swift in responding to my email and helpful. I felt cared for as a customer and they provided a satisfactory solution. To me, great customer service is just as important as the product and they have delivered. I have recommended these headphones to friends and family, who by all accounts are also really happy with them. For me, these are a good buy.

Best headphones I've ever used
These are literally the best headphones I've ever used. Make sure to use aux and a DAC adapter for your phone if needed. These are the second ones I've owned after the last broke, but they had years of use. I tried the Doqaus Life 4 after which were still really good, but coming back to these (Doqaus care 1) the sound quality is quite noticeable different It's pointless spending big when you can get PERFECT clean sound like this Really good for shoegaze as well

OK budget option, muddy base and broke after 6 weeks. Good customer service! Replacement on the way!
Well, I mean, they are £25, so I wasn't expecting studio sound quality earphones, but the base is dulled and muddy on pure music. I like base, but a clear thump, not a loud dull whomp. They do have moderate mid-range, but the top end is pretty much non-existent. But, whatever, like I said, cheap, cheerful and really used just for the occasional gaming session, and most budget earphones ramp up the bass and leave the top end wanting a bit. But like I said, I'm using just for gaming with (using with PC and Quest 2). The EQ setting doesn't do anything on wired, so can't alter the sound. First off, the bluetooth connection to a PC simply did not work. Sure, the PC saw the headphones, even connected, but no sound. It worked with my phone though, so go figure. Fine, not a deal breaker, I'll just use the provided cable to connect to the audio output on the controller. I'm not listening to jazz or orchestral music, so the sound quality was fine for gaming. Every time I'd finish playing, they are popped into the bag and put away. I have now had for 6 weeks or so. They have been used for less than 10 hours I would guess in that time. And last night they broke, no audio at all from the left ear. You get what you pay for I guess, but I would have liked a lifespan that was more than £2.50 per hour of use. Now the real plus though. They have an email address on the product page, so I emailed them directly and pointed out the issue. Had a reply very quickly and they have sorted a replacement with no hassle at all. So, they do get a lot of kudos for support. Hopefully the next ones will live a good while longer. Nice to know they are standing by their 18 month warranty, so they do deserve a thumbs up for that. So, when working, an OK budget option, but if you are listening to music with a lot of top end sparkle, this might be a tad lacking, and tracks with heavy base sound a bit muddy. Other pluses just for balance, they are super comfortable and don't look like a budget option. They actually look better than the Dr Dre Beats the missus has.

Best headphones for the price!
These headphones are just amazing. I have tried a lot of cheap headphones but these ones are really really nice considering the price. Sound quality is pretty good for music, gaming and movies. I have never ran out of battery using them so I would say the 52 hour is correct. Sometimes I do not charge them for a week and they still have power somehow. They are comfy and very high quality. 10/10
