Seeley's Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology, 8th Edition

I used this product as a required textbook for my college Anatomy and Physiology I course. It is fine. It did the job.

Generally speaking, I find A&P boring as all get out - there is nothing this book could have done to change that fact. However, as far as texts books go, this was nearly half priced - if not 60% more cheap than the edition at the college book store. I saved an incredible amount of money, and I still received an "A." That said, this book totally gets a thumbs up from me - especially considering that most in my class earned C's and D's on their tests while I generally earned a solid "B."(If anyone was curious as to why I earned an "A," it was because of class assignments in which I scored higher on.)

I did not notice until after receiving the book, that the title and description on Amazon do not indicate this textbook is the international student version "for use outside the U.S." The note does appear in the photo of the book, but I didn't notice it without enlarging the photo, after I received the book. The marketplace seller of the particular book I purchased was actually located outside the U.S., though the seller profile does not indicate this fact. I don't know if I tried to return it to Indonesia if I'd have a problem. I going to hope, since anatomy is anatomy, that this book will suffice, and I won't have to pay a higher price for another one. Amazon should correctly label the item on the website, and buyers should know where the product really would need to be returned if necessary.

My professor doesn't stress the textbook as essential to the class, as her tests are straight from her lecture, which are straight from the book. But it seems to be a very good textbook. It's pretty well-organized and straight to the point.

This book is great and thorough, but I found a few mistakes in the quizzes that are online, which should be corrected. It's hard enough learning anatomy, but when there are errors in the material on the on-line quizzes it makes it more difficult to learn. Please correct the glitches in the quizzes before publishing the next edition. Thanks!
