Would have been a 5 star, its just that the lead could do with being a bit longer, operates really well though.

we bought this to use when camping with electric hookup, and it is great. Its a really good size and I cooked breakfast for a family of 5 on it no problem, and we like our bacon and sausage and tattie scones! The coating is non stick and worked really well, eggs cook on it like they do in tv adverts! I have the same gripe as most people in regards to the temp fluctuation. The thermostat has a huge range, meaning that the plate comes up to temperature, then turns off and the temperature has to drop a fair bit before the thermostat switches it back on. Its a small gripe though, as it just means that cooking take a tiny bit longer. We cant expect cordon bleu standards in the campervan! My only other fault I could find is the length of the power cord - its too short. sitting on my camp table, the power cord wont reach the floor, I had to sit my hookup box on a chair next to the hotplate. In hindsight, I would have brought a small extension cord with me. So just be aware that if you are thinking of buying one of these, make sure you have an extension, even if you think it will just about reach for your needs - thats what I did and it didnt work out for me! overall, I really like this hotplate and look forward to using it more over the summer

Fantastic griddle. Cooked on this and it did the job really well. Temperature control worked well and the non stick surface made sure the food didn't stick. Cleaned up really easy too.

Having always had trouble cooking steaks "to order" I thought i'd give this a go and was certainly not disappointed. The meat seals very quickly and I can put them all on at different times to get the range of desired cook for everyone. Have also cooked pork which was delicious, but need to remember to turn white meats more for an even cook. Roast veg are so simple and the best is the chopped onions for burgers as it's just like the ones you get when you're out (finely chop onion, mix in a bit of oil and keep turning with a spatula). Temperature control is really responsive so I start on med-high then simply turn it down to suit. As for cleaning, it is very easy even though it doesn't fit in my dishwasher. The oil tray is removable then I just use washing up liquid and sponge to wash it down with hot water. (You can add an ice cube after cooking to attract any fat on the surface). Quite big to store in a kitchen cupboard, but I manage by storing it on its side with non stick plate protected from damage by anything else in the cupboard. All in all, really pleased, especially as it is such good value for money.

The grill itself is good, non-stick and easy to clean. However, there are a couple of points I should highlight. First, the grill is slightly bent in the middle, and the plastic frame has a gap in the center. This gap is designed to allow for material expansion when the grill is heated. Second, the width is not actually 32 cm. There is a gap at the bottom between the grill and the plastic frame, so the actual usable grilling width is smaller than stated, which reduces the area where you can grill meat.

Great to use, lightweight, bought it for the Motorhome when on EHU. Tried at home first, cooked steak, mushrooms & fried potatoes for 2 - perfect!
