My life is better because my lashes are now curled.
It worked great for me! So the hardest part of this for me was getting the lashes glued to the silicone pad nice and evenly and separated. My lashes just wanted to clump on the pad but the little plastic comb they include really helped with separating the lashes. My lashes are long and very very straight. They do not hold a curl for longer than a few minutes and they don’t curl evenly, they just clump. I’ve tried so many mascaras and tips to make my lashes stay curled but nothing worked. Finally I was going to go to a salon and spend $70 on a lash lift but luckily I saw a YouTube video with this kit and I was convinced to buy it. Great purchase!! It’s been like maybe 6 weeks now and my lashes still look good though I think I may have to do my right side again soon because my lashes grew and now some of them aren’t as curled. But that’s my lashes, not the product. My left eye is still looking amazing!! This was a life changer for me lol. I just wake up with lashes that are nice and lifted. I wear regular mascara, no waterproof needed. The perm makes them curl and mascara makes them look a little thicker-it’s just a great thing! I wish I had before and after pics but trust me, this works great!! Worth every penny. I even did my lower lashes using the silicone pad kinda turned upside down. I didn’t want to curl them, I just wanted them to lay a little flatter and most importantly BE SEPARATED because they always looked clumpy like they got into a fight or something 😂. It helped to give that doll lash effect by using it on the lower lashes. Anyway BUY IT. If it’s too much money go halfsies with a friend because there’s definitely enough product for two people at least. I did my friends and he liked it. Seriously it’s so simple and easy to do and it’ll improve your life so much it’s almost funny.

Easy to use even for an amatuer! It works!!
I have to give this product 5 stars. I am 48 and just your basic hair and makeup type person. I don't have any special gifts for applying makeup and wear a minimal application. ... And I have been tired of wearing mascara for a long time. I have been using Careprost on my lashes for several years to make them grow. It makes them a good length and thickens them a bit. I want them even longer - but they are straight as a board and I don't like them touching my glasses. (So I only apply once a week to maintain this length.) So the other day a friend of mine mentioned LASH PERMING. I had never heard of such a thing! I can be a bit frugal - so I wasn't prepared to plunk down $85 at the salon when I saw many videos of people doing it themselves on You Tube. I immediately clicked over to Amazon and found this product with good reviews. It arrived quickly. Has clear instructions. Is easy to apply. And stinks to high heaven! Just like a perm LOL. And I am very pleased with how it turned out! If I could offer my own tips... I did cut the little plastic piece down to fit my eye better. After trying to get it glued onto my eyelid and the corners popping off (even after holding for the 3 minutes other reviews mentioned), I folded it in half and heated it with my hairdryer for a few seconds to give it more of a curve. It went on without issue then! Everything else was as the instructions indicated. I have included some pictures of the process. No makeup at all. I will definitely use again.

Not as good as first purchase
Updated review: I purchased this kit again July 2019 and noticed the solution in the pink and blue bottle was a lot thicker than the one I purchased last year. After using this kit as instructed with the max time suggested, my lashes were barely curled. Not nearly as lifted as the older kit. I thought maybe it was user error so waited a few weeks when my lashes flattened out and tried it again, this time with an additional 2 minutes on one side and 5 on the other (to test). I also tried it on my brother, same disappointing results. I noticed the glue has improved, it seems a bit thinner so easier to apply and remove. The nourishing oil also works better and makes removing glue quicker. The silicone pads are better than any other ones I’ve tried. You could also reuse them. I suggest purchasing it separately then trying the other cheaper perming solutions and using a thick oil cleanser/balm to remove the residual glue. DHC oil cleanser works very well and doesn’t flatten out lashes. For glue, you could use pretty much any clear false lash glue. Skip this dolly lash lift kit, it’s not as good as it use to be and still about double the price of others sold on Amazon. Old review: I love this kit! It took a while to get use to but now I can do both eyelashes within 45 minutes. I have used this kit about 6 times now and still have about half of the products left except the nourishing oil. I had to use a lot of it to get off the glue. The medium pads gave me naturally looking curls the large was too difficult to use. I also ordered a separate set of pads in small and tried it on my sibling who has shorter lashes and it worked very well if you have super thick, straight lashes that do not hold a curl well. The glue bottle gets “glued” shut after a couple uses so just make sure to wipe the edge and it helps to wrap a rubber band around the cap or bottle to help with grip. Use a lot of glue when sticking your lashes to the silicone. Once the pad is glued to your eyelid, put some glue on the pad and let it get tacky before flipping up lashes. Flip up a small section of lashes at a time so you have time to comb through with a toothpick. When your lashes are all flipped up, apply another coat of glue and wait until it dries before putting on the first solution. If it’s still tacky, the solution will make your lashes fall off the pad and it will be a sticky mess. My lashes stayed curled for about 6 weeks and I have noticed losing less lashes since not using a curler.

Great result with a few modifications
I wasn’t sure I would like this product and was nervous by some of the other reviews. BUT, overall I’m super happy with it! I received it quickly, everything was intact. I marked it down because the silicone pad that are included were a real struggle. They were simply too big (both width and length) for my eyes. I started the process and gave up once then decided to try again after modifying the silicone pads. I cut off a small portion of each side to better fit the length of my eye. Then I cut off the top portion, leaving only the “roller” that the lashes adhere to. It made everything SO much easier! They still would not stick well at the corners but it was enough for me to work with. Also, the glue would absolutely not hold them to my eyelids. It was great for the lashes but don’t rely on it to hold the silicone pads in place. I also found it difficult to use the tool they included to put the lashes in place. All of that said, once I figured it out, I did both eyes at the same time and was done in about 45 min with pretty good results! A few tips I figured out: 1. Modify the silicone pads to fit your eye size 2. Use eyelash glue to hold the pads in place then use the glue in the kit for the lashes 3. It’s easier to add lashes a section at a time starting with the inside corner of the eye and Work your way out. Trying to do all of them at once I found I was using more glue because it was drying too fast 4. Using a toothpick was easier for me than the plastic tool they provided for gluing the lashes to the pad 5. If your lashes are super straight, use an eyelash curler just before gluing them. It makes it easier to glue them to the silicone pad 6. I only apply products to the root and a little more than half way up so I don’t damage the ends of my lashes 7. After you’re done, throughout the day, when you think about it, push them up with your finger or a lash brush.

Works just like it should. Easy to use.
So glad I spent the money and went with Dolly's. Don't cheap out on this. I did mine and my daughter's and there will still be enough of the product to last a year easy. Some helpful tips I learned. 1. Don't be afraid to really glue the lashes down on the pad. You don't want it clumpy or anything, but the glue will not hurt the lift solution. I got a much better result when I used more glue and made sure they were really glued down. 2. Trim the pad to fit your eye better. Doing it on myself, I needed to be able to open my eyes. My daughter could keep her eyes closed, so fit wasn't as crucial. 3. Buy some eyelash tint and the difference will be amazing. I used the 1000 I think it's called. After you wipe the blue solution off with q tips and get as much off as possible( blue solution is the 2nd step). Once the q tip came off clean, I knew that was good enough. Now mix the tint and apply it liberally to the lashes( I used a q tip for this process also). Leave on 10 minutes and then wipe again with q tips. Now apply the last step of oil for the 5 minutes. Lastly, have plenty of q tips. ( I went through a ton during the process)

AMAZING!!!
I used to pay $100 for "lash lift" at a local salon for my long but stubbornly straight eyelashes. This was SUPER easy to use! I used the glue enclosed even though other reviews said it wasn't that good, I found that it worked well. I used the Large size on my first eye/first try and it was much too big, and I did not have any discernible curl. I went to the other eye and used the medium (with the ends trimmed off) and WOW what a difference. Obviously it stinks and is a little messy but for the price it's worth a few paper towels and a half burned candle. I went back and did a second process on the first eye with the medium size (I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND but i know my eyelashes and skin sensitivity would probably allow this and worst case scenario I could wear falsies for a few weeks lol). I was very happy to see a beautifully in tact curled eyelash. I've already recommended this product to all my DIY beauty friends. I have at least 3 more uses so that makes about $10 an application. I'm hooked!!!

#3 Solution burns!
I've used numerous eyelash perm kits and have never had any solution burn and irritate my eyes as much as this #3 nourishing solution has. It is now 24 hours later and my eyes still feel irritated. Most kits have a cleansing and a nourishing solution separately. Other than that this kit works well. The glue is slightly thicker and dries pretty fast which is a good thing if you know what you are doing. My lashes curled fine and will wait to see how long the perm last.

Pleasantly Surprised
Ok, I just finished doing this for the 1st time in my life! I’ve never had a professional lash lift, so didn’t have a ton of expectations. This is my advice and take aways: I have thick, very straight stubborn lashes, since I knew that going in, I left the perm solution and setting solution on for about 30 minutes each. I curled my lashes with an eyelash curler before I started and I think this helped because it wasn’t super difficult to get my lashes to stick. Although, I still had to use quite a bit of glue to keep it affixed to the silicone. I used the large form because it fit my eye best, with a little trimming, but I’m kicking myself for that now because I just read that the smaller the silicone eye form, the more dramatic the curl. I like dramatic! So next time definitely using the medium or maybe ordering smalls. It was about impossible to get all of the perm and setting solution off and that stressed me a little bit. Turns out that’s no big deal. I really freaked when it was time to take the form off and my eyelashes were all gunked together and still blue. I thought I had screwed it up. I almost got a wet rag to soak them because they were such a mess! Luckily, a calm came over me and I decided that I couldn’t be the 1st person this had happened to and that the saving grace had to be in the nourishing oil. I was right! With much patience, I kept dipping the end of a toothpick into the nourishing oil and separating all the lashes. This made the glue and blue gunk come to the top of the lash so I could safely pull it off without taking my lashes with it. Actually toothpicks were a must for gluing the lashes down and pulling them off the silicone, too. I also used a ton of q-tips! All in all, I’m pretty satisfied with my first run. It’s tedious, but not overly difficult. The instructions on box are pretty basic, but there are plenty of YouTube videos to help fill in the gaps. I would say the only cons are: took me 2 hours, start to finish and the perm and setting solution smell is pretty pungent (smells like a salon perm). However, so far, the good things far outweigh any bad. I’ll be interested to see how long it lasts and next time I’m definitely using smaller silicones for dramatic lift.

Semplicemente perfetto!
