It is a little melted because it was outside on the heat but takes several hours to get back to normal. This is perfect if you are caring about healthy oils, truly clean ingredients, fantastic flavor and it’s perfect not only for cooking but also for skincare, moisturizer for skin and lips and and just overall perfect to have at home. This is my 3rd purchase and it’s absolutely worth the money and price is great for such a huge jar. I use this for a skin condition and since day one of using this it has cleared up the condition. This is the best brand and quality you will find and if you're in a similar situation it is worth a shot, of course it won't work for everyone. Also, unless you live in a very hot climate all year you will need to very so slightly heat this up to use as a lotion. I use a microwave, or sit it in front of a wood fire/heater during winter.

The oil has a nice coconut fragrant smell. For cooking, all your dishes will have coconut smell.
