What would make it all easier is if Milliard would be more specific in their calling their 6 inch twin a 6 inch twin XL mattress because that is exactly what it is. I believe that this carry case for the tri-fold mattress 4" twin would be 4 inches too short for your 4" XL twin . You would be better to buy the Carry Case for the Milliard Tri-Fold Mattress 6" twin (which is really a 6" twin XL mattress). It would fit in the length but would be baggy in the width. Maybe better than not fit at all. Hope this helps!

Once the mattress is folded 3 times it's 25 inches tall, so the cover is 25 inches tall. The mattress is 52 inches wide and so is the cover.

I have the 31 inch version of the case. The mattress dimensions folded are 31x25x12. When inside the case, it measures 31.5x25.5x12.5, so the case adds an additional half an inch to the mattress dimensions.

I was impressed by the quality of this product. It's puffed up to its full thickness within the specified 24 hours. I tested putting it in the case and was impressed with how easy and quickly that happens. The zippered case is a must for this and it is well made. I'm a big man six foot three and around 300 lb. I put this unit through its paces after. Had inflated to its full size. Fitted it with some Sheets and tested it. It was actually quite comfortable and for my size that is quite something. While I am not the intended user I think this was a great purchase and I highly recommend it to others. I had thought about buying a six inch thick unit but without a case for it I decided to go with the 4 inch thick unit and test it out. A year from now I will review this again as you will have been used in several ways. When I travel to the interior I will use it inside my SUV to have an nap when I am tired from driving. Sometimes there are more unexpected guests then I have beds for and this will be great and comfortable for them.
