If I could give it 1000 stars I would!
This product is wonderful. While it appears pricey, a tiny amount goes the longest way. I have struggled with rub and buff. Not only is the color of this more realistic and prettier, the product is much easier to use. You can wipe it with a cloth or you can use a paintbrush. I use this product on a light fixture that I spray painted bronze, and then brushed gold to match an existing fixture I had. It turned out beautiful. You could do a whole project without spray paint. I also painted a clay pot that turned out really pretty.

Goes a long way and looks great.
I deliberated over which color to buy and decided on King Gold. This color is beautiful, has a high degree of shine and can be toned if desired down by adding a little dark wax (I used Annie Sloan's), but others might work as well. I used to to color leaves on on old, decorative wrought iron table that was given to me by a friend. It came out great! I then used it on a few other things, one of which was an antique medicine cabinet with glass sides and front. That came out great as well. It is super easy to use and its amazing how little is consumed. I still have plenty more for other projects.

Love love love
this gilding wax is amazing! A little goes a long way, so it last forever. It’s the perfect accent to add to decor to give it life or to change its appearance slightly.

excellent quality
I bought this to refinish my six oil painting frames that are dark. They look fantatic and the wax is just enough to do all six picture frames. It is very easy to apply with a latax glove. You just rub it on and it dries very fast. For small corners I used a sharp little brush. Best purchase on Amazon.

Table finish repaired—finally
I applied this product with a small flat brush in test areas on a very expensive gilt (over primed iron) and brass (the curvy parts) coffee table. The gilt had flaked off in areas and was easily worn off by shoes and vacuums. I tried numerous paint pens and gold paints to cover up the white primer with limited success. It is a tricky finish to mimic. After spending a small fortune on gold paint pens I found the winner in this gilding wax! It is easy to brush on, easy to clean up, and it seems to have the durability and staying power I need. It actually matches the brass but when applied to the frame in a patchy fashion it came out looking exactly like a couple of Maitland Smith pieces at nice furniture store in town. I am ecstatic to have found this product!

Bought by accident- fell in love
I bought this thinking it was a larger acrylic paint. I got this tiny container in the mail and was pissed. Then I tried it. Amazing stuff. The texture is like nothing else. It almost buffs onto surfaces. It requires so little product for coverage it's impressive. The color is the most accurate gold I've come across. I use a lot of gold in my artwork and this... this stuff is magic. I will be a lifelong customer. Best accidental purchase ever. If the price is keeping you back, don't let it. It goes so far and looks so good. I favor this product over ten other gold paints/additives I have. It's worth it.

Great Wax
I especially like the warm glow of the was on ivory chalk paint. We used it to refinish 2 China cabinets & a small dresser with some leftover.

Nice Gold Color, Dries Pretty Quick
Using this for art and really like the tone on this gold. Some have too much metallic, glitter or off gold tones. This is softer and looks like a nice true gold. Works on metal, baked polymer clay, wood, and you don't need much. For my art I let it dry to the touch for about 20 minutes, and glaze or resin over the top. Works well for me, but you may not need a top coat depending on what you are using it for, not sure. It works better to use a thin coat and a thick coat really isn't necesary since the pigment is not translucent at all. Looks more like an acrylic paint, but better. I also have the silver and that's nice too. I have tried a couple other brands, but hands down this is better.
