Set up is quick, but cumbersome, so when shooting it is difficult to get any perspective on your subject but straight in. The camera stand is hard to use and keeps your camera from being able to get as close as you like. If you want to shoot marco, it is useless. The lights do not do anything to illuminate your subject if set up on the outside of the box as shown in the photo. So, getting that nice soft lighting you want doesn't happen. They are small enough though to set up inside the box.
