This product is very well made and with nice wood. The customer service was also excellent. I had some pieces that were received damaged and Artimex sent me replacement pieces right out. My daughter was recently diagnosed with scoliosis (19 degrees curve on her back). We took her to an excellent doctor at the "Hey Clinic" here where given her degree of curvature recommended her to do Schroth Physical Therapy. Her Physical Therapist had wooden stall bars in her office that a lot of the exercises were done on, so we decided to buy this one on desertcart from Artimex. It was expensive, but worth it. We are so glad we ordered this product. My daughter does her physical therapy exercises every day on it. After her 3 month progress check-up, they X-Ray her back again and we were so happy and blessed to see the results. Her curvature had been reduced to 9 degrees ! She continues doing her exercises on it everyday. I highly recommend this product for anyone that needs to do physical therapy types exercises, or other activities that require stall bars. -Richard Review: Sturdy scoliosis and exercise bar - We purchased this bar for our daughter's Schroth therapy for her scoliosis. It is mounted through dry wall and into our basement foundation. It is very sturdy and looks so much nicer than a metal stall bar set. This set is very similar to the stall bars at her physical therapist's office. I'm giving it 4 stars because we are pleased with the product - solid wood, sturdy, quality product. It would be nice if the top bar extended out a little farther from the wall, but it is adequate. If I were able to rate the assembly instructions separately, it would be 1 or 2 stars. There was only about a 90 second video online for installation help. Thankfully my husband is handy and figured it out on his own but not without a lot of frustration. It definitely took a couple of people to help line up the pieces and a power drill is a must. The price from Artimex was very reasonable for the quality as compared with other manufacturers. It arrived very quickly. The wood is finished with water laque williams. **Q: Is the top bar really 8 1/2 inches in front of the others? It does not look like it could be that far.** A: No. The top bar is 8 1/2" from the wall. It is about 5" in front of the other bars. She is not a candidate for surgery so her Orthopedic Doctor recommended a yoga instructor the specializes in a specific therapy for scoliosis. The instructor uses a stall bar in the therapy and suggested my wife get one for home use. After careful research we decided to purchase the Artimex one. It is extremely sturdy.
