I'm a mobile DJ, so I'm constantly moving my gear in and out of venues. I frequently deal with hotel carts and I owned several hand trucks. I made the mistake of buying the Home Depot special a couple times but those can't handle the load. This hand truck in particular is light weight, versatile and rugged enough to handle heavy loads. The casters are good quality and they roll with easy. Usually my others dollies get stuck on carpets. I used this hand truck on different surfaces such as concrete, carpets, hardwood and tile without issues. The 3-1 positions is my favorite feature. It allows me to maximize the amount of gear I can load on the flat position and it minimize my trips. I will recommend this hand truck to anybody moving things constantly like boxes and others items. This is not an industrial grade hand truck. Do not move heavy things like refrigerators with this hand truck, there are other heavy duty hand trucks designed for that task.
