Palette Kits

First of all let me start off by saying this is a great product that suits its intentions perfectly. It is intended for people who want to face paint at a party but not professionally. Professional face paint costs about $15 to $20 PER COLOR. If you are going to be doing face painting long-term, go that route. If you want a really high quality face paint for one or two parties or however many faces the item description says you can do, this is definitely for you. With just a tiny TINY bit of water these colors go on smooth and opaque. You can do basically any traditional face paint design with these paints. The brushes that come with these are decent but you need face painting brushes if you plan on doing flowers or anything like that. They are inexpensive and if you search on Amazon you can find some for about $5. If you don't care that much about doing specific brush Strokes, the brushes that they give you will be okay, just not great. The sponges on the other hand are excellent. I do not recommend using latex free makeup wedges as they soak in the color and don't let it out. You want sponges similar to the texture that are in this kit. They're porous and soak in tons of color but they don't hold on to it at all when you press it up against skin. This is exactly what you want as you want the color to bleed out leaving an even opaque layer against the skin. Glitter in this kit is not great though. It is liquid glitter. Dry glitter is much easier to apply to wet face paint. The liquid glitter can be difficult to apply over places where you have multiple colors applied as it re-liquefies the paint, obviously because it's liquid, and causes everything to bleed or smear if you're not careful. If you plan on applying this to bare skin or over one solid color it would work okay but I really recommend getting a dry glitter that you can apply directly to wet face paint if glitter is important for the designs you want to do. Comes off really easily with just water. I like to hand out an unscented baby wipe that is designed for sensitive skin. I just put one wipe in a ziplock bag and hand it to the parent when they're kid is just sitting down to the table. Takes the color off great. It's also easier for little kids than holding their face over a sink! You may want two wipes if you plan on doing the full face. Really great kit for amateur face painters!

I am far from a professional but this kit was great! It comes with a book of face paints with step by step visual instructions which is nice and easy to follow. I would also google face paints and tried to recreate them for the kids. The colors are vivid and easy to wash off. I will mention that black would stick around in hairlines, eyebrows or pores a bit more than other colors. Red and yellow stain, but not much. I frequently would paint their faces and wash it off for school the next morning without issue. Above all, my favorite thing is the hours of entertainment it provides especially in wintery Pennsylvania when we can be stuck inside for days. I have taken this to parties with other kids and it instantly becomes the life of the party. It’s been nearly a year and I only just ran out of white, and this kit was getting ALOT of use. Highly recommend!

I think this works fine for what it’s indented for. Just basic kids face painting. I bought it for that, but tried a few more creative looks. It doesn’t blend the best and gets splotchy if you’re trying to make more than one pass. The black, yellow, orange, & red are decently pigmented but the rest.. not so much. The brushes it comes with are useless. Use a damp makeup beauty blender & damp makeup brushes. For the price, it’s fair. But I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone trying to use it in a professional setting or more advanced makeup looks. Overall, good for what it’s advertised as.

super easy to use, goes on very smooth. My favorite part is it stays all day (if they don't go rubbing it!) but with a baby wipe it cleans off super super easy. I was even able to use the brushes that came with it fairly well. (yes tinier brushes would help, but not needed.) I have never face painted anything above a school paw print before but I got this kit for my son just for fun, and so far I have painted a dragon, a rainbow, a full face butterfly, and a full face tiger and the paint doesnt even look dented. It was easy enough that I could do it on a 4 and 5 yr old in very little time. I like the fact that even though my lines may not be perfect the paint is easy to work with and get it to look great. I hope to get a bigger set maybe with screw on lids...that is the only complaint I have (but for the cost I knew what I was getting) is that you have to place tiny plastic saran wrap circles over the paint (that it comes with) to help prevent drying out--it hasn't shown any signs of it drying out but I wouldn't want to leave off the plastic and it means you can't throw away the box as that's what it is stored in. I know it was designed more for the one time "party" use so I didn't dock it in my rating. I was really really surprised with the quality of this paint for the cost.

Received it today. Fast delivery. Seems like quality paint. 2 pots if glitters. I will update when we use it. I am excited to see if it glides well. Update: at first I was disappointed when I saw the tiny little paint colours. I was not sure I would have a lot especially after reading you can make about 25 faces. After using it, I can attest that yes you can make that many faces. You might run out of some colours first. The booklet with ideas shows different make up ideas in 3 steps. It was easy to replicate them. The paintbrushes themselves were not fantastic. One of them is all open with very soft bristle so very useless. The other one was nice to fill out shapes but was a bit big to do outlines and small details. Get the little brush package sold separately if you want to have option. The paint itself was nice to use. I had a cup of water to dip my brush. It was very easy to wash, dry and wet. Maybe too easy as my daughter rubbed her face after a couple hours and it was erasing. Maybe I need to use less water but she was very happy to be a cute little kitty. It also comes with 4 white sponges, the two small one seen on the package and 2 bigger ones.

Je ne m'attendais pas à un truc très "folichon" mais en fait ce produit est tout bonnement idéal pour du maquillage de fête enfant ! Il teinte très bien dès le premier passage, le retrait est extrêmement facile (un simple rinçage à l'eau suffit, sans frotter). Aucune réaction ni rougeur non plus sur des peaux de petits loulous bien fine de 3-4 ans. Nous avons fait un anniversaire indien et cette activité était une vraie réussite. Pour ceux qui ne savent pas trop quoi peindre, il est fourni avec un livret guide pas à pas pour faire des "masques" en peinture facile avec la couleur à utiliser à chaque étape.

Soy animadora infantil y he usado ya varias marcas de pintacaras, ninguna como esta. Se quitan fácilmente de la piel sin tener que restregar, es decir, con agua y jabón, lo cual es ideal para los padres. No dejan señales. Creo que son aptas para todo tipo de pieles, compruébenlo porque van muy bien. Lo que se lleva la estrella del producto es la calidad de las pinturas, permiten un trazo fino y bonito y con muy poca cantidad se cubre mucho la piel, no es necesario repetir otra capa si se ha mezclado el pincel con el agua suficiente para juntarlo con la pintura. Es la segunda caja que uso ya!!! La primera la encontré en una tienda y al ver que en Amazon la tenían ya encargué la segunda cuando acabe la primera. Es más cómodo y fácil que llegue a casa directamente jeje

Me encantó, muy fácil de lavar con agua, no me irritó la piel, muy bonitos colores. Compré aparte otras brochas para tener más variedad

These are brilliant. Even when the kids paint themselves and gouge at the paint, they've managed to last over a year. The colours are amazing and they don't hurt. We love them a lot
