1st Laugh 100% Cotton Muslin Baby Sleeping Sack Bag, for Boy and Girl (Parrot, Large)

I LOVE this sleeping sack!! Im on baby number two and I have the hand me down's from three years ago but it is so hot in our apartment that I needed a lighter weight one. I researched and decided to go with this one for two reasons; 1) its muslin and the reviews said it was soft and 2) it had a double zipper which in my opinion is genius and I don't understand why every other company hasn't switched to this type of zipper (no trying to put a zipper together in the dark on a squirmy baby). Im SOOOOO glad I bought this one!! It is very soft, the sizing is perfect, the zipper is fantastic and it's cute! It's been 78 degrees in my apartment so I put the little guy in a onesie and this and he's a happy sleeping baby! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who lives in a warm climate or just anyone in general because it's great! My one teeny-tiny gripe would be to get rid of the tag at the neck or make it different material or stamped on the sleeping sack itself; I don't think it actually bothers the baby because if he's wearing clothes then the tag doesn't actually touch his skin but I just feel like if he moves around a bunch then it might possibly at some point bother him. This is my insanity speaking here which is why it's a teeny-tiny gripe and definitely far from a deal breaker because otherwise this is the best wearable blanket I'v ever had!!! Thank you for making such a GREAT product!!!

So far so good! Pros: the zipper is genius compared to other sleep sacks I've had since you don't have to connect two pieces to close it, and I love that you can do it from the top or bottom. This is key with a squirmy toddler. Unexpected: As others have mentioned, I am confused by the sizing. My son is 32" and 25 pounds, so I bought the large, and it is soooo long, even after washing. He can pretty easily walk around in it. We just measured and the length is 35"... so measure your child from his/her shoulders down and you can decide! It is also just a bit thinner than I would like, but not a deal breaker. The design is super cute. I would buy this again - it definitely beats the Aden by Aden and Anais sleep sack I bought on Amazon before I found this one. (For what it's worth, that one is also huge.)

Material is soft and fabric choices are adorable. However, their sizes are INSANE! I bought the medium for my son who wears 6 mo clothing (per their chart) and it reached below my knees (see picture). Great product, but beware sizing!

Sleeping bag is the most important part of our babies wardrobes here in hot Southern California. From April through October it's just too hot for a baby in his/her regular cloth else while napping, and it's very easy to get bored with the same old colors and patterns day in and day out. I was very excited to find this sleeping bag from 1st Laugh.. The geometry pattern is interesting with colorful lines going around the body. This is a very cute sleeping bag and it is 100% made with cotton and feel super comfortable. Machine wash and dry. Very pleased with this purchase, I think you will be too.

We wanted something very light weight because the kids room gets hot, and this definitely is light weight - it's a single layer of cotton muslin. Will it last for months? No. It's going to tear, likely at the seams and within a few weeks. That's the nature of a single layer of loosely woven cotton, and isn't really a quality issue so much as a factor of getting something this lightweight.I ordered the size large for a relatively average sized 2 year old boy - he wears a 3t in most clothing. It's actually a bit large for him, but I like that the arms and neck are a bit loose. We use wearable bags to keep him from climbing out of his crib, and they need to be worn backwards since he can work a zipper. The neckline is loose enough to still be comfortable without falling off his shoulders. He has enough leg room that it'll wear out or be out of season long before he outgrows it.It's soft enough after washing to put him to bed in just that and a diaper. I like that the zipper can be done from the bottom or the top and stays attached - no wrestling a flailing angry octopus while trying to get zipper parts together.

This is an update of my first review. The company quickly sent our family a new sleep sack once they heard our first product tore. So far we have washed the replaced/new sleep sack and our baby has slept in it every night this week. The quality is good, the fabric is soft, and with summer coming it provides a cooler option for helping him sleep. Thank you for the new sleep sack and for the great customer service.The sleep sack seam tore (bottom) within the first 5 uses. We have only washed the sleep sack once, before we put our baby in it. Disappointed with the quality and wish that the product was made with more care as I really like the material, style, fit, and design.

UPDATE: I am in love aith this sack. And ordered two more. It has held up well in the washer and with my baby’s twisting and turning. And to my surprise, it really is two layer muslin, but because it looked so breathable and felt so soft and thin, i thought it has to be single layer. Its PERFECT for the TX summer and we keep our AC at around 80. I especially love that its roomy. The L size fits nicely with my not so chubby 15 month old, with room to grow.When it said two layer muslin, i was hesitant since i was specially looking fr a single layer muslin sleep sack. But this one is single layer, not double. And thats a plus for me. We keep the AC at around 81F at home during summer and this single layer muslin sack works perfectly for us. It has only been a few days since first use and I don’t have any complaints. It’s perfect size, roomy and as soft as muslin cotton can be. Its made well. Zipper is good, may b a bit noisier than swaddledesigns, but its not a big concern. Love this sleep sack. And will buy again

So lucky to get this adorable sleeping bag! Its perfectly light and soft to baby's skin. And the forest color looks fresh and definitely CUTE!! I also attached a video, it just way too easy to warp baby. Check it out, hope you love it as I do. This does worth every penny!!

I was so excited when the sleep sack arrived. My son really needed a new one, he's growing too fast! The design is so cute and the fabric is soft to the touch. I was really looking forward to use this for a while and even purchase a second one. However after one wash and one night of use, the left shoulder area is already ripped. It's been 4 nights of use now and the left side is almost completely torn apart and I can see the right side also getting loose. Looks like it won't survive the second wash. Disappointed. Won't be buying a second one.

Very thin muslin sleep sack. It is exactly what we were looking for. It is so thin it is see through for those wondering just how thin. It’s great for the summer since it’s very light

I was glad that the large sleep sack was long enough for my almost 2 year old son but very disappointed that the material is already ripping at both shoulders along the seams after only 2 weeks of wearing it and a couple of washes in the wash machine. The sleep sack needs to be reinforced at the shoulders.
